Why do a lot of people hate on Mayhem?
Clearly the people hating on it are playing the wrong way. The point is just go ham 😀 run in guns blazing supers,nades, more supers it's a blast!

This mode has made me appreciate my neglected striker titan. I mainly like to play defender. Its also a total blast just running round like as fast you can trying smash everything. Tip for strikers - use flashbang grenades :-)

I like to think of it as a practice playground, helped me place lightning and trip mine grenades in more effective places and so on

I don't hate it it's just actually kind of boring to me... Supers aren't really fun IMO

Why does everyone think this mode takes no skill? Are you saying it takes no skill to kill? To have a good kd? To go on streaks? Of the games I have played yes no skill to kill. Go on streak. Eh not so much.. But to survive and have a 2.5 or higher kd that to me takes skill. When there are infinite rockets and supers to dodge. That can be hard to do. Hell even trying to get to double digit kill streaks can b a challenge. Unless you're one of those that sits back in a corner with your back against a wall. Then maybe it does take no skill. But seriously why do you think there is no skill. I say there is. Just not the status quo of wrecking with kills and having better gun skills. But instead of evading and living. Kinda backwards.

This is where you just go to have fun... So if there's someone complaining it's because they want their kd untouched.. And to them I say: there's other 6 game modes !! Stop complaining it's a mode to have fun, and to use the new subclasses !

4 RepliesThey want to go in a play competitively... When in reality that is the one game mode in which you should just play for the hell of it lol. It's by no means a competitive mode, it's just fun... Explosions, shockwaves, orbs, everywhere haha

1 ReplyI think it's because these people are use to call of duty style FPS. They forget that this is destiny, and a mode that has a mega amount of supers, heavy, grenades etc is not what they're use to. I totally suck at pvp, but mayhem is something I've enjoyed so far.

6 RepliesThey hate it because they can't spam their usual weapons and be OP. This takes a little more skill. When I say skill, I mean planning, super use, and using different gun types based on situation. Sure, it's easier to just super everywhere but anyone whose played Mayhem knows that's only a portion.

I'm having a blast with it. Salvage and rift are fun too. Prior to this, all I played was control, clash and a little skirmish.
