Your veiws about Suicide Squad and Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn
Suicide Squad is one of the highest anticipated movies of 2016. There is a superstar cast and all focus is on Jared Leto's Joker and Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn relationship. What do you think about it. Leave your comments about anything relating to the movie or costume etc

1 ReplyAnyone heard of the fan theory that this Joker is actually Jason Todd and that's why he looks weird? I hope they have the balls to go for it, usually they don't like going into the lore that deep.

I honestly don't have any expectations for this film. I remember reading forums on the topic, and people getting mad Jared Leto was the joker. Of course that's due to Ledgers iteration being so popular. My opinion, ledger was good, but the joker as a character can be played many different ways. Might be good, might be a bust. Cause no matter what, the movies success will all fall on Leto's shoulders.

It looks pretty meh to me. [spoiler]Are they really trying to make The Joker sound like The Dark Knight version, because they'll fail. You can't get a better version for the more realistic type. Asylum/City have the best Joker.[/spoiler]

Not because of the actors (besides Jai Courtney and Joker's kinda meh) but because it seems like they're doing that thing yet again where they make the movie as dark and serious as possible. It's a -blam!-ing movie about supervillains, with a character named Killer Croc and another named Captain -blam!-ing Boomerang. You can't mistreat that shit.

3 RepliesHere's my issue with Suicide Squad. Now you'd think a movie where a bunch of super villains get rounded up to fight for good would be fun and what not but no, DC being the idiots they are decided "We have to make it dark and gritty for it to be good!" This is why I prefer Marvel movies, their dark, but they're also fun and lighthearted. If you asked me if I wanted to watch The Dark Knight or Iron Man 2, is watch iron man 2, because it's quick and simple fun. [spoiler]that being said I still have hope for Suicide Squad, if they do it right then it could be great[/spoiler]

Nevertheless, to see the sociopathic, delusional individuals, with insane background stories, team up is going to be something worthwhile. We've never had a movie based on the (super) villains, only movies based on the heroes, with villains. Secondly, I love the dark, sadistic films. Some people aren't into that, so they aren't looking forward to it. But for the people who love dark films...super villains, it'll be to die for.

1 ReplyDC movies are for a most part a joke. All their movies really just feel like too little too late, like they are playing catch up to marvel. But the DC TV universe is amazing! And because of this movie that will probably end up being a fail, we no longer can have Harley Quinn on Arrow like originally teased! Only thing I'm looking forward to is will smith as deadshot.
