Question: What Crucible Mode would you create?

Hi everyone! In light of the new Crucible modes coming out with The Taken King, I figured I'd pose this question. What would I pick? Mode Name: Roulette Objective: Similar to Clash, but with one or two rotating modifiers similar to Prison of Elders per Round. Guardians are limited to three lives per Round. Best of Three Rounds wins the match. EDIT THE FIRST: Private Servers/Matches do not apply to this question, as it is a modifier to existing Crucible Modes and not a separate mode entirely. Just to clarify. :) EDIT THE SECOND: Ok, Custom Games also do not apply here, since you're basically choosing from existing modes or other mode ideas listed on this thread. :) EDIT THE THIRD: Playlist Modifiers such as No Supers/Heavy Ammo, Melee Only and other such modifiers could technically be their own modes, but really, I think they'd fall under the Private/Custom options listed in Edits the First and Second. I'm looking for original modes (or modes from other games you like). I see a lot for Search and Destroy as well as Capture the Flag, which I will allow. :)

  • It's called Titans Win. The team with the most Titans wins, if it's at a stalemate of 6v6 Titan teams, everybody wins and gets a non-nerfed 2.0 Gjallahorn that's 3 times stronger than the old Jellyborn, but it's a Titan exclusive weapon in 2.0

    • Ninja Mode: One player is invisible, cannot be seen at over 10m (like in TTK mission) and is the sole point scorer. The only way to become the point scorer is to kill the invisible Guardian.

    • Title: Space Ball -similar to rocket league in the sense that there a two goals (obviously in a really small map) and you drop a ball from the tower in the middle of the map its a 3v3 or a 6v6 and first team to 3 points wins.

    • Gun Game. Not the CoD kind though. Same as clash, point system and everything. The only additions are that suicides cost your team 500 points and the Trickle modifier is in effect. Everyone has their own, regular loadout. But when you get killed by someone, you get their loadout. Doesn't matter if you have those weapons or not. To revert back to your own weapons, you have to die by your own hands. Suicide. But as that costs points, it's a high risk. Play smart, Guardians.

    • The game mode would be called lancing. Guardians would be on sparrows with swords and would have an all out brawl until one person stands.

    • The Cabal Open: Doubles tennis with Cabal Phalanx using their shields as rackets and orbs of light as tennis balls. Variety of courts from an actual court of oryx to the jungles of Venus grass court. Capture the Banner: Two opposing Fallen Houses battle it out to steal each others banner. There are three classes to choose from: attackers, defenders and goal keepers. Attacks are vandals who can turn invisible; great for infiltrating enemy lines to grab the banner. Defenders are Captains with various weapons to choose from. Goal keepers are Servitors: the last line of defense, providing devastating void blasts and buffs to nearby defenders. The first House to steal the enemies Banner and return it to their own base wins. Best of 3. Thrall Hunting Season: Players control vex hobgoblins wielding line rifles. Exploding thrall are tossed into the air at random rates. Players must shoot down the thrall to gain points. Explosions may case chain reactions, awarding bonus points.

      • Infection Shotguns and sidearms for humans only while the infected get to use swords. If you've played Halo you know what I am talking about. None of that rip-off shit like the verison CoD has, good old Infection.

        Can i get unrealistic? PvP Mode Name: Heir to the Throne Players 30-30 Two teams are pit against each other in a single large map, the Osmium Throne. Players gain points by killing enemies using the Osmium Swords of the Nethers. To summon swords, any player must stand inside the Osmium Throne for 15 seconds. After doing so, multiple swords will spawn on pedestals on the other side of the map, within the Osmium Armory. Five swords will spawn on once. A player wielding a sword gains boost in movement speed and a tough overshield. It'll take a few teammates to bring a wielder down. Team with the most points win. Edit: Score Limit: 300 Score per kill: 2 (Thats with using a sword.) Time Limit: 20 Mins

      • A mode called Core, basically you fight like king of the hill on this one marked area that connects to a Warsat that fell from space. The more in the circle the more points the team gets, no contesting, constant stream of points to those in the circle. Kills are worthless. 50 points earned per person in the circle per 2 seconds. However, when it ends and a team wins at 30000 points, NPC enemy ships come out of orbit to take the Warsat for themselves. It's a 12 person end of game collaboration to save the Warsat for the City.

      • Team death match with obj like zones and capture the flag but no supers, no radar, no aim assist

      • I made an in depth post about a mode. Basically it was rift, except the spark was a heavily armoured sparrow.

      • The Great War Pretty simple, Team Alpha spawns with a random enemy type on their side and Team B, the same. The enemies have a more advanced UI and they will be able to use special abilities offensively or defensively ! The abilities are specific and will only be able to apply to that enemy type only. Spawn-wise, more kills = better allies\ more allies.

        • *coughspaceshipbattlescough* Who said that? Anyway, my vote goes to a game mode similar to Team Fortress 2's "Control Points". It's a little different from Control as we know it. Basically, instead of A B C D and E being separate points, they are in sequence. Alpha starts out in control of A and B, Bravo has D and E. C starts neutral. In order to capture a point, you need to hold the previous one. Granted, this requires a pretty sizable map, and teams of more than six, but honestly, the eight that we had all they way back in Halo Reach could have managed it, so I think Destiny ought to be able to handle it.

        • Corruption. Basically, its a 1v5 gamemode. One player is chosen as the corrupted, and gets double armor, speed, and recovery. They also get a crota sword. They can only use that sword. It's played first to 3 round wins wins the match. If someone is killed by the corrupted, they join the corrupted's team for that round only. They stay "normal". What do you think?
