Crappy new TK maps
Honestly, the maps for crucible are crappy as hell... I don't want to play these maps or "preview" them and it seems like bungie can't get their acts together when it comes to map creation. All of these maps aren't even fun and don't provide any enjoyment. I rarely play this game, since my uncle likes to play it so I play crucible on the regular maps to have some fun... but these new TK maps are just horrendous

1 ReplyI personally haven't played a new map that I haven't enjoyed yet, including Exodus Blue (new for us anyway) Momento won't be my favorite, but I'd still rather play it than that garbage of a multiplayer map that was... That Mars one with all the vehicles. The rest of these new ones I like though. Especially Crossroads and Dungeon.

I like them all, except Momento as of right now. Lol whenever I play the map The Dungeons I think of the Fungeon from Wreck it Ralph.

4 RepliesIt's much too early to judge the maps. It's only been 3 days! You have to get comfortable with each one and understand the flow before you can make a call on them. On any new map, you're bound to feel discomfort because you don't know what's going on. Just give it some time.

I played a bunch tonight and overall I'm not really feeling them. I don't see anything that really stands out and says this could foster some great gameplay. I would think by now Bungie would have a philosophy or system that constitutes a good pvp map. Right now I see nothing that indicates any real thought process. Honestly feel it's another instance of them not really having the time to stop and think and instead have to keep pumping out product to appease their overlords.

Crossroads is the only one i like so far, haven't played the sector one yet though. They're all pretty much a maze like mess similar to that horrendous map thieves den 😔

I don't hate them by any stretch, but the design definitely caters more to Shotguns, which I am not a fan. (Disclaimer: I use a Shotgun - if you can't beat them...)

They're so small and pokie, no openness at all. Small corridors made for shotgunners.

I think the new maps are fun. But it takes time to adjust to new arenas, they are without a doubt different.

1 ReplyNothings changed from when I last played the game months ago...Felwinter and Blink is still powerful, despite the nerf. Sliding shotguns still reign...and the new maps for the most part are so closed in you cant snipe worth shit.
