I've seen a major drop in the usage of last word which only proves how much of s crutch weapon it was
But I was playing a against a player that knew how to actually used (ass) that or he has found away around the patch

The drop in usage has nothing to do with people using it as a crutch. People will not use a weapon that is bad. why are people using pulse rifles now and didn't use them when the game 1st came out? because pulse rifles back then sucked and auto rifles where better. The concept of using a weapon as a crutch is just people trying to undermine those who are playing the meta. If you want to win at anything in life you have to use the best equipment. i'm not saying you can't win with subpar equipment but if you want to win you have to use the best gear if you don't you put yourself in a deliberate disadvantage. I used the Last Word and Sniper combo. Am I using the last word as a crutch? of course not because I have the skills to snipe and last word helps me deal with shotgunners because it can kill close range fast enough before the silly noobs who run around with their shotguns can't get close enough.

Oh wait they shouldn't because it's a gun that I've practiced with so much that I know how to use it and never used as a crutch because it doesn't have one. Don't make this game about a mets everything is suppose to be on an equal playing field, I've been getting killed by all types of guns since I've been playing rift, yet rarely see last word or thorn or hawkmoon But let me ask you another question with rise in the usage of " the messenger" do you believe it's a crutch because people are still looking for that two shot (burst) kill.

I have 176 Subscriber? I'm not a massive you tuber and do not pretend to be one. It would be lame to try and monetise a channel of that size even going as far as using ad glitch. Furthermore if you are looking for a game where everything is equal you are looking at the wrong game. Destiny weapons work in a tier system. Exotics are expected to have a slight advantage over legendary counterparts. It doesn't ,san you cannot do well with other classes of weapons but Exotics should be slighter better than other classes. Purple better than blues and so on. Now in all field of life to get win you have to play to your strengths.If u want to be good at destiny use the best weapons thats it. It's not a crutch its the best strategy. Would you tell someone who is trying to lose weight that he shouldn't watch what he eats besides training? and that they should only lose weight the hard way by training alone? of course not. That;s why while I hate blink shotgunners I don't blame them because sniping takes far more skills and if you want that trials loot you have to blink shotgun because its made possible by bungie and it's the best strategy for those who can't snipe.
