Nightfall is a weekly event. It's just a modified strike. Non ttk players still have everything they had. Raids, story, strikes, pvp... The fact that people bring up class action lawsuit over a bloody weekly strike just shows how stupid some of you are.

  • Um, no. NFs, and weeklies which (read carefully) were part of original content, now: Locked unless you are level 40 - can't go above 34 unless you buy TTK. It's as simple as that. Before you start talking about the EULA, ambiguity in any contract benefits the person who did not write it. That is law. Don't believe me, look it up. And this is not an attack against you, just facts being pointed out. Facts. Old Badger,

  • Obviously some people are having a hard time understanding the concept. Let's suppose you buy a membership to a health club. The membership permits you use of all equipment and facilities within that establishment. For months you get to use the weight room, showers, steam bath, jacuzzi and swimming pool. Then while your membership is still paid for and valid the club offers classes. Yoga, Pilates, whatever at an additional fee. Suppose you are not interested in these classes and are happy with using the weight machines and all other facilities as you have been doing so. Uh, no. You MUST purchase the yoga class option in order to continue to use the jacuzzi and steam bath. Features that were included in the original purchasing agreement yet now are off limits. This isn't a perfect analogy. It was difficult to think of one more apropos because as far as I know... NO GAMING COMPANY HAS EVER DONE THIS BEFORE! It makes sense that a customer who hasn't purchased new content be restricted from that content which is new. All of the old strikes still exist. Customers who purchased that content have a right to it. A nightfall playlist with the old content capped at level 34 is not impossible for Bungie to provide. I myself have preordered TTK. I spoke out because this feels very wrong to me.

  • FFS... You signed the agreement. Cry more. Also, it's a strike with modifiers, and yes it was an event activity. To be surprised that it's going to be growing with coming expansions is silly. People without TTK aren't losing anything period.

  • I won't speak on lawsuits as that's a whole other basket of apples, but what was in the base game and then being taken away, even if is just a strike is still "something" that was paid for. This is why the BBB complaints are being validated, taken seriously, and people are getting sent games to trade in to get their money back and other ways of satisfying unhappy consumers. All the facts are there. Before you say anything about the EULA please read my above post on that and contracts. Old Badger,
