I have played warlock since original game release and I love voidwalker. I play it in pvp and raids. Only occasionally do I play sunsinger if I was using it for a burn or if raid requested it.

Self res is a crutch and if only being used for a self res it doesn't help the raid in orb generation. It only helps with a death that could be avoided with diligence. If a person can master voidwalker in raids then they can use sunslinger for more then a res bot for covering your a** for a death. I can't stand to see warlocks just sitting on their super in sunslinger just to wait to res just in case they die. I have no complaints with warlocks that use the spec to its fullest with raid support and offensive abilities and don't just sit and wait to use their res.
