Really there is no reason to end a game series that is popular. If they ended COD there would be a ton of outrage and we would possibly loose the gaming industry. If we lost Halo, then the Xbox would fail and the Playstation would soon follow because it would have no competition and reason to become better. Same thing with the most popular Playstation exclusive just vise versa.

Let me ask you a question. If Halo were to die, the Xbox would die, right? Well, Uncharted is set to end after game 4. Will people stop buying the Playstation then?

Playstation has other larger exclusives to fall back on. Halo is one of Xbox's biggest moneymakers. You can not quite compare those.

Idk. I've never played it. I'm just saying a general example. It could be for any reason really, but it would not be good if one console went away. Another example is Nintendo loosing Mario would cause the Wii U to fall. I really don't know of a whole lot of Playstation exclusive tbh.
