Haven't given a good look yet at all the possibilities. But the hunter helm that gives shade step. If you still have it when on another subclass that's going to be powerful. You could shade step and blink. Or mid golden gun shade step to dodge a sniper then nail him.

Unlocks the node for free meaning you have to be on that sbmubclass for the node to be used. It is only useful in PvP. But this subclass is designed for PvE support in mind. So why make an exotic that is useless one PvE. And that's the only one that nightstalker benefits from. Alpha Lupi is the only Exotic that's available in year 2 that can be utilized in PvE for the new subclass. All others are garbage or are for bladedancer. 3 of the 6 new exotics cater to the bladedancer

If you look at the other classes only 1 exotic piece is designed directly for the new subclass. the rest are either for an older subclass or general perpose that can be used on any of them. So the design pattern is the same across all the new armor exotics. I think it's too early to call them crap. A lot of hunter exotics do subtle things.

Rare give does Subtle things. exotics should feel special and have a perk that reflects that. None of these new exotics do that.
