Really? All other raids were one level higher than the level cap. Now this one is 2 levels higher?

The damage taken/handed out difference isn't the same anymore since 2.0 - it's a lot less.
-
Don't worry everything will be nerfed eventually
-
6 RepliesLuke Smith has assured us that the level penalties are not what they used to be. We should at least give the raid a chance before critiquing it.

Level won't matter that much light will
-
2 RepliesThat's hard mode. Normal will be 40.
-
3 RepliesRecommended Light rating is what matters after level 40.
-
They said it won't matter its your light you have to worry about not level
-
How else would they create the 'hardest raid ever'. Simply by increasing delta leveling even more...
-
1 ReplyI'm sure there'll be ways for us to push Oryx over the arena or a way for us to get outside the map so we can snipe him from a safe distance to make it easier for us.
-
I killed Keldar, who's 4 levels above..

10 RepliesLEVEL DOSNT MATTER light is what matters
-
Damn guys level doesn't affect shit anymore other than getting into an activity its the light that you need to be worried about
-
Light level is still there they just changed it to the actual # instead of 120 light to reach lvl ___. If I had a guess it's to stop people from making lvl/gear requirements on Lfg but ppl will figure out acceptable light #s and gear to be useful in the raid.
-
The lightrating is the thing now, I think you can have 500 or more light so its like the old system, I thing 40 light is one level so ;)

3 RepliesEdited by SuperAznStoner: 9/11/2015 2:30:25 PMAlready said it's not as big of a deal as it was in the past
-
1 ReplyMaybe we should wait until we see how it goes before complaining.
-
It will be the light level that determines the difficulty. Level requirement is so a couple level 40's can't carry a bunch of 32's through. Another way of locking out the player base, pay to play
-
Level difference has changed dramatically, if you have a high enough light level, you will do fine
-
1 Replywe are capped at 40 ? wtf is bungie doing. They nerfed our stats and guns and now this ? Bungie does not want ppl to play destiny apparently.
-
Can't wait for the lv60 version when we hit lv50.
-
5 RepliesThe difficulty scaling is different, it won't be as extreme. See Luke smiths tweet regarding level difference
-
The emphasis is now on your light level. If your light level is on recommended or past it, you're fine. The level difference doesn't have as much of a penalty as it used to, but you will be punished if your light level isn't high enough.

1 ReplyAll I heard was IM A SCRUB AND I CANT WIPE MY ASS ON MY OWN lol but anyway in the Kings Fall there will be player/enemy level cap and there also will be an player/enemy light level (Guardian/enemy light lvls being the determining factor) of our ATK/DEF and ultimately effects how strong you have to be to let alone survive or complete the raid (cause who TF knows what in store huh :) but anyway........

3 RepliesBungie have said that although the raid is level 42, the level is not the problem as the level doesn't affect how much attack and defence the enemies have and they are saying that they are not going to effectively become bullet sponges.
-
It is an entirely different system, and two levels will not have the same impact that they once did.
