Dear Bungie,
I have already paid for the game. I also paid for The Dark Below and HoW DLCs.. but you have removed the content from both these DLCs
How is that fair? They were not exactly free DLC. Do you intent to bring ALL their content back? or maybe we can expect a rebate?
I wouldn't expect to buy a car and find the dealer turning up 3 months later to remove the engine!
Some clarity on this issue would be cool.
Regards,
Gus

2 Repliesersonally I think it's unfair that bungie have created this digital collectors edition for new players with the extra class items and emotes.. People like me who originally supported the game by preordering the base game and purchasing the season pass as well as also pre ordering the taken king are clearly getting shafted! Here is a price list to explain why I feel the developer is letting down its day one or even year one players and supporters..Original game pre order £54.99, expansion pass £39.99, taken king £39.99 so In total I have spent £134.97 in supporting your game. New players who are joining and decide to opt for the cheapest bundle available get everything for a lovely discounted price of £74.99 nearly half of my investment in your game. Now obviously the year is a game old and I can understand this part of reduced cost etc and because both expansions will still be the same price it's a bargain as you will be getting them and original game as an extra for £4.99 less than the price of both expansions separately. What I honestly feel takes the mick is that us Original and continued supporters of your game don't also get the exclusive emotes and class items. So the cheek of it when you turn around and say we will sell them separately when we've already pumped nearly double the amount of money into the game than the "new collectors edition players" i think is honestly disgusting. Why would you make such a fanatic deal like that for new players and not think "why don't we also reward all of our year one supporters and give them something extra or the same as well for the amount that they have thrown at us" I feel even worse for the people that pre ordered the ghost edition that spent £149.99 and are now also buying the taken king at £39.99.... That's one way to really get to your original and continued supporters who have helped make it possible for you to carry on your work! Nice one bungie personally I will think twice about ever pre ordering anything made by you again, I might as welll just wait a few years and get everything at a massive reduced cost and get all of the "special" items as well... A comment back from bungie would be great but please let your thoughts on this subject be known too as myself thinking about this logically Has made me into one very angry and disappointed customer.

Agree with OP. the content should still be there for people who hanger played it yet, so they can er the full experience. And for those of us who have played it, it should still be there....

4 RepliesYeah, I have no idea why they removes features from the game. Why remove ether chests? If thats the only way to get keys for skolas, skolas now has no value whatsoever apart from being the most challenging boss we've had to fight, yet with the crappest weapon rewards in the entire game. May as well do level 34 mode for etheric light and upgrade your vault of glass weapons, which were so easy to obtain now.

23 RepliesWhat part exactly did they remove?
-
5 RepliesThe Prowling Wolves and the Swords of Crota weren't DLC. You got those on patrol as part of an update regardless of whether you bought it or not.
-
yep I noticed this too. you have to re- download the expansion passes for the previous DLC for the content to show up. some systems have an auto update in place so wouldn't of had to do it manually. once I installed the expansion passes again the content was included .

Edited by LewisMidz: 9/10/2015 9:48:22 AMTo be fair I completely understand where your coming from and for people agreeing that is ok for them to do this is exactly what allows them to keep shafting players.. That's like buying a map pack for call of duty and them choosing to remove a map and making you purchase another dlc to be able to use whatever they replaced it with. It's not acceptable for the people who aren't getting taken king or can't get it yet. They paid for the content. Personally I am getting taken king Tuesday and can't wait to get it but I honestly do feel for the customers who are losing something they paid for! This is my massive issue with bungie right now: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/152648762

4 RepliesI read everyone's comment... I've a better question. Let's say people who bought the previous expansions didn't buy The Taken King, what about them now?
-
5 Repliesthe game "Destiny" as it was originaly no longer exists. the new game is called " Destiny the taken King"( check the main screen)It is just another way for them to take away content we already had and resell it to us...not for me thank you very much.

1 ReplySounds like some whiners. Content is ever evolving. Removing the engine from a car was a poor metaphor, since the engine is the basic essential for a car to run, this game dlc is still there, crotas end, prison of elders are two easy examples, removing the blades and wolves would be better off compared to the dealer coming and taking your leather seats, while its Nice to have, is not a basic essential function of the game

8 RepliesNothing was removed. Only thing that is temporarily unavailable is Trials of Osiris.
