I finally logged in today to see these changes and i swear to god i was asking myself if its too late to cancel my preorder.
I know lw and thorn needed to get nerfed but did u have to nerf the range and accuracy of HC's in general?
I finally got hawkmoon today but the accuracy and range nerf is too much.
Dont get me wrong it still kicksass but the added range and accuracy nerf to all HCs was uncalled for.

I thought the HC change very good. It was too easy to use HC, now it will take more patience/skill to use. That's how a HC should be imo.
-
Only hand canons that were viable for 1 v1 was Thorn and TLW and maybe Hawkmoon. All other hand cannons took a lot of skill to use anyways. Because they needed 3 shots to the head and 4 to the body. So making them weaker at longer range seems silly.
-
Course not, because HC are not meant to be used at long range.
-
To be fair, you shouldn't pre-order to begin with. It's an awful practise that needs to stop.
-
Question is why. Because the consumer is wrong in buying something? Or because the developer can't be trusted? ;o)
-
Because it's silly to put money down on something that 1. Hasn't been released yet, and 2. You don't know the final quality of, or if it will even function correctly. That's why. It also enables publishers to continue doing awful practises like pre-order bonuses, where they cut content out of the game to sell off as pre-order exclusives. Not only that, but because they know they'll have Day 1 sales, they're more inclined to put out an unfinished product just to say they'll fix it later. Look at the MCC as a prime example.

Edited by WINTER PROPHET: 9/12/2015 4:47:16 PMOh don't get me wrong. Reason I asked is because every time I say it somewhere Bungie burns down my thread, or the post get ninja'd. I agree without doubt. Glad somebody else sees the writing on the wall. I've no intent to buy or even preorder TTK. This game, behind bungies EULA, had become one simple formula. •Sell game. •Mix in 3 wholesome activities. •Once activities are in, add NEW DLC to those "already bought" activities so people can't play the prior activities they bought. •Once people buy back those prior activities we locked them out of by adding NEW DLC into them, add another NEW DLC to those activities they originally bought and re-bought to lock them out.... again. •After locking players out of what they bought and re-bought, raise the requirement to access those activities to level 40, and disallow players being level 40 unless they PAY 40 dollars To gain access to the activities they bought, bought again, and bought again... so they can't play them unless they buy them.... again. I'll pass on preorder or buying TTK. ;o)

Don't forget waiting until the next DLC is coming in order to finally address the majory concerns of the community, and release said patch a few days prior to the DLC launching in order to "sweeten the deal" as it were.
