Being a vanilla Destiny player means nothing now.
I download update and start exploring all the changes. The first thing i notice is my vanilla weapons have all been nerfed in the ammo clip department. My vanilla jolders hammer, E. Spear, my Harmsway and zombie appocalypse, ylongbow sniper,ldr. All the weapons we spent hours trying to acquire tampered with. Then i notice what they did to the hop scotch pilgrim. I did over 70 strikes trying to get this weapon. Spent a lot of time at gun smith reforging for what i felt was a perfect roll for me. All that was gone in one update. Now i now the weapon wont be bad but here is the thing....ready...it is now a 55 allfate from the vanguard. 55 allfate is great too but I DID NOT SPEND ALL THAT TIME IN BORING STRIKES FOR A 55 ALLFATE. If i wanted a 55 allfate i would have just gotten it with vanguard marks. Bungie you are very very wrong for implementing these changes. Now i know you want your beloved messenger to be one of a kind but spitting in the face of the folks who grinded all of the weapons above is wrong. Some of you will troll and to you i say this. Yes grind is grind and i love it but erasing all we have worked hard for is wrong and if you think that this is ok...well then you are brainwashed by bungievision. As for me i will never give bungie another penny. I promise you this..the next 9 years will be the samething over and over..why do i say this...because there simply is not enough creativity at bungie so therefore they will keep resetting all progress we make to make it "feel" like new content when in reality it is the same old stuff. Bring on the hate and love.

6 RepliesCurrently, people can preorder Destiny plus all three expansions for $60 USD, which is approximately the price most payed for just Destiny nearly a year ago. Since then, veteran (day-one) players have poured out another 40 dollars for both the Dark Below and House of Wolves. With the Taken King added in, this will amount to a whopping $140 for all three expansions, plus the game. On the other hand, newer players get all of this (and more) for nearly half the price. This is an injustice on behalf of the veteran players. In response to our loyalty, we get a sparrow, a shader, and an emblem, while these new players get 3 free Exotics (with special XP-boosting perks), 3 Shaders, and 3 new emotes. This is hardly fair to the veteran players, who have paid more for this game than any new player has or ever will. This petition is designed to let Bungie and Activision know that we will not stand for this, and that we want what we deserve. We are asking that veteran players (it should be easy to discern older players from the newer ones) receive the same perks that the Collector's Edition purchasers are receiving (the free Exotics, sparrow, shaders, and emblem), due to the fact that we have already paid more than enough for it. For this to work, Bungie would need to introduce a Digital Collector's Edition featuring solely The Taken King. I've been thinking about this and came to the realization that for me, at this point the rewards, and satisfaction of acquiring, or accomplishing anything in this game no longer justifies the time and effort given to get said item, or accomplish said goal.

4 RepliesIm really mad about the Hopscotch nerf. It took me about 100-125 strikes to get it and about 50 re rolls to get the perks I wanted but they magically didn't touch The Messenger. This isn't ok Bungie, we would hear a lot more complaints about it but I feel like maybe 5 people have the damn thing so Bungie isn't going to hear shit about it.

8 RepliesI think of every year to be like we taught the city something. We have made them learn new ways to build weapons and armor, and it has become better than we ever could have imagined. Or compare it to real life, every year a new car or piece of technology comes out and is better than the previous. Progression leads to present, and the present shapes the future.

1 ReplyIt's a 10 year endevour! Anyone still rocking a flip phone or anything other than a smart phone? I think it's been an amazing journey the first year! Never have I put this much time into a game, felt the disappointment, redundancy, frustration, etc..... Yet I'm still here! Very excited for year 2! Who knows what Bungie will do, nerf, etc... But I will continue to play! It's a great game!!! Possibly the most popular & polarizing ever! Keep it up bungie!!!! Loose activision though!!!! Game would have been much better without them!

1 ReplyI'm glad it's changed the game up. Sure it's a shame your favourite guns, armour and class items have changed, but for everyone to be equally as clueless as to what is going to happen feels strangely reassuring to me. Its like everyone is in the same boat now
