So last night my son (10 years old) was playing Destiny to complete his last objective on the Moments of Triumph. He was playing with 2 people he found on LFG. He had spend 3 hours playing with them and was one or two Gjallahorn shots from beating the final level when the two players from LFG said "Hey kid, you know whats funny?" and they kicked him from the fireteam. He was destroyed. He loves Destiny and mowed lawns all summer to pre-pay for the Taken King. If there happens to be anyone with a heart, a few hours for PoE 35, and a PS4, please reply to this. I wish there was more I could do for him, but maybe this will help.

36 RepliesMan, I love the comments on this thread. It's everything wrong with the community consolidated into one place. Let's analyse the problems here. 1. The kid was too young. Destiny is literally a visual representation of every little kid's fantasy. Knights, Zombies, Romans, Pirates, Robots, Aliens. It's a perfect game for a kid to play, since it's everything one would love. And what bad is in it? "If you shoot things, they die." Isn't this what they learn and partake in with sticks on the playground? Kids know what guns do. 2. It was the kid's fault he got kicked. I'm going to go out on a limb, and go extreme, and say that a lot of people in these comments think rapè is the victim's fault because they "were asking for it." Or, less drastic, that it's okay to beat someone up if they're annoying you. The kickers were assholes, not saints retaliating against a devious and conniving squeaker. Arguments nerfed.
