Do i still need to buy the taken king if i have the expansion pass
I bought the $99 collectors edition of the game when it first came out which came with the expansion pass and I figured that that meant it would come with the 3 DLCs that bungie announced. I was looking at it and idk if it comes with the taken king expansion or if I still have to order it. Do I still need to buy the taken king even though I bought the collectors edition and have the expansion pass?

Yr 1 collectors edition only covered the Game, Dark Below and House of Wolves, not the TTK stuff which is essentially destiny 2 (for all intents and purposes).

Hi beast Bungie never announced 3 DLC with the original release. The expansion pass was Ex 1 & Ex 2 So, YES, you'll need to buy TTK

That edition included the Season 1 expansion pass, which was The Dark Below and House of Wolves. The Taken King is the beginning of Year Two of Destiny, that is, not included in the Year One Pass.
