I'm comparing all of my exotic armor against the attributes available on the same armor within the exotic armor blueprints. After watching the reveal I had expected the exotic armor blueprints would have the same intellect, discipline, and strength attribute points that I currently have equipped so that I could delete anything I currently have and obtain it later if I wanted to. After all, they specifically said in the review that we could recover what we had lost . They did not say we could recover a cheap and normalized lesser version of what we had lost.
It looks like almost everything I have has better attribute points than what is available. What gives? What would be the point of deleting anything in favor of using the exotic armor blueprint kiosk to obtain it later? No thank you. I guess I'll be hoarding all my gear in the vault again. I bet you I will fill that thing completely up within a month.
PS: don't forget that they may eventually allow all exotic armor to be upgraded to the current level. That has been said in a couple of places on the forum but I do not know for certain if they will do that and if they did when they would do it. You could potentially run out of space to hold an exotic piece of armor that is not currently being offered as a year two piece of armor, delete it thinking you can reacquire it later, then when it is upgradable you reacquire it but with downgraded attributes. Not very useful. I would end up grinding for a better roll. Which pretty much means I better not ever delete anything. A good example of this is my purifier robes. It's not a year two option but it may be eventually. And if that day comes I would like to be able to reacquire the one I have with the fantastic roll that I got. Not their Generic middle of the line roll
