Nolan North :( , dude man what happened to your nuts
what a let down , he sounds like Reek after his balls got chopped off mixed with a feminine 3-CPO ,and if that wasn't Bad enough , they also ran his voice through a cheap 1980's voice modulator , and then added some Annoying sounds effects after he finishes speaking that sound like a dying crack smoking R2-D2

2 RepliesWould much rather have a deep dark sadistic voice to go along with some of the lines like: I'll work faster.... an The hole did they just invite us in.. Looks like.. it is a trap. Or have a smooth sexxy yet sassy female voice. Ti counter ballance the we must save mankind from space zombies ,killer time robots, army turtles, and space pirates. But mostly the ghost just need alot better scripts.

3 RepliesI'm a huge fan of Nolan. He is a really good voice actor. He had awards for Christ sake. But he does sound terrible. It may be I'm used to dinklage Idk. I feel with his talent it could have been a lot better just like dinklages performance could have been a lot better.

Why can't we just have Nathan Fillion as the ghost? Let Nolan put his Nathan Drake voice on and voice Cayde. Seriously, Nathan Fillion would do great.

Did the Archive mission for the Fallen Bounty today and after you kill everything he says * Lets get back to the Archive * and I Swear my Warlock skipped all the way back to the archive , and Nolan-bot was whistling "follow the Yellow brick road " on the way there. then we took Selfie's together, and laughed as we frolicked amongst the dead bodies. afterward we settled down for a cup o' tea and some biscuits. In all, it was a surprisingly pleasant day of chopping off heads, getting splattered with blood and being gleefull through all of it , was like a romantic comedy that I never wanted to see, let alone be the main character in ,,, Thanks Bungie, I now see the future is not so bleak after all. You just need a happy little high pitched A.I. to make everything /Swell . { no matter how deep in guts and entrails you are }

Edited by Krobolus: 9/12/2015 12:04:13 PMI think one of the main issues, as with alot of things in Destiny, its so damn Generic , its been done the same way in so many other games, if you have a Little robot , give it a High Pitched voice with a Slight English accent , add some Bleepy noises = the same as 50 other games. ( but Nolan - Bot is like Nails on a chalkboard compared to all the other copy paste little robot sounds, and he is an Artificial Intelligence , NOT a robot, he is suppose to have a personality and not be a generic copy of 2 billion other Ghosts ) Dinklebot , while not spectacular , was nice to have a gruff voice as your Artificial Intelligence ( he is not a robot ) , it gave him Character ,, and Nolan-Bot has no Character , he is a male talking in a female voice with a Touch of English ontop and his voice modulated up to a pitch no human should have to endure .. couple that with how Low his volume is set ( you cant hear him half the time ) and add in those ( Constant also High Pitched ) Blleepity Bleeep sounds , and it is a failure . the reason the Bleeps and Blips with Dinklebot were not so hard on the ears is because his voice was Low but LOUD and drowned out 90% of the beelps and bloops, his lines were shorter so you did not have as many Bleeps , and his voice was more relaxed and went with the darker atmosphere of the universe being in Choas, Humanity on the brink of extinction, and the very few remaining Humans, Exo,Awoken are in an Epic Underdog fight against insurmountable odds .. Nolan Bot sounds like he is all Chipper and ready to have a Biscuit and Tea and talk about how wonderful life is. I know they stated Nathian Fillion was suppose to bring some light humor , and thats good to have a little humour to Offset the horrors of reality in a war torn universe from one of the Side characters in the story ( a little comic relief , from someone you dont constantly deal with = adds character to That character and makes him unique _),,,,, but your BOT is in the thick of everything with you and he is an Artificial Intelligence and with everything he has seen and experianced it has taken a toll on him , like it would with Any intelligent being ,,, some dark rare humor occasionally fits the Bot better,, and i think Dinklage had that more Sardonic ( nolan is more Sarcastic, and its -blam!-ing annoying) life kinda sucks right now but we going to deal with it attitude
