Don't hate on Blizzard. They're fantastic, the department that works on Diablo 3 are so on point it's unreal. Every time I log back into Diablo there's been an update, with new gear, new levels to play and quests added. FOR FREE. Not to mention that each update only makes you even more powerful than before, all added items are far superior to the previous.. So you go after them with a passion to improve your character. Bungie take notes from Blizzard, that's how you update your game.

Yes, Blizzard have impressed me with their great updates and that they actually fixed the mess that was Diablo3. I have no doubt they are on the ball and many companies could take notes on how to keep a game and community going. But its not all they do and again, sometimes its about principles. Do you think I care that someone scrubs my back when they flay my feet at the same time? Do you know who their masters are? Do you understand why I might dislike a company on principle regardless of how well they tailor their games?

How can you dislike Blizzard just because Activision Blizzard is the parent company? They fund the games that Blizzard create, they aren't always sticking their nose in, how they are with Destiny. If they were I imagine with each update Diablo 3 would be charging me money, but they don't, it's free. Blizzard aren't a pushover like Bungie, they've been making WOW and Diablo for years, Activision know not to stick their noses in. Unlike Destiny, where they've pledged half a billion in funds.. They want to stick their fingers in the pie to make sure it has a huge return and because of that the game is suffering. It's Bungies fault they couldn't come up with a better contract between them and Activision. It's as though they've (Bungie) surrendered the final decision making to Activision.

You cant separate the cock from the balls. When a company allows themselves to be taken over by the money men why should I be ok with that? Do you know who I really separate... the people actually making the games, the actual Devs. Doesnt mean I like the position they have put themselves in, doesnt mean I think less of them as people, given the chance I would gobble that money down just like them. The chance to get my music heard by millions of people? Sure! Imo, dont let the love of a game cloud judgement over the actions of the companies that control that game.
