The sword had no ammo in Halo 2. It was OP, so they gave it ammo in Halo 3. Same rules apply. Infinite ammo breaks a shooter.

Not even close to true. If you can't comprehend how a sword in halo is different from a sword in destiny, or how unlimited ammo is just fine on certain guns then you should not even bother discussing balance.
