The real problem with halo is the lore whores
What is a lore whore? Well I will tell you a lore whore would sacrifice game mechanics for the sake of lore .That is a lore whore is and that is 343. Except they ruined halos lore and divided the community. Now we have mindless lore whores that are convinced halo is still good, still relevant, still AAA. Im afraid that just isn't the case its used up and a shadow of its past .........a Joke.Lore whores are also poor at defending thier answers and will attack you with comments like you need to learn how to spell,or say things like I list facts and you have nothing.Its so sad poor lore whores.

The only thing I hate is that they brought lore to multiplayer. Multiplayer is multiplayer. They should have left alone and because of it,we can't play as Elites.

Ahh so lore whores are the ones who make decisions based on game mechanics? No I think not. Being a proclaimed 'lore whore' as you've decided to label me my love is in the story of not just the games but books,comics,live action stuff and more. So your assertion is incorrect many lore lovers get their fill outside of the games more then they do 'in game' which has no effect on the games mechanics.

To this day I can still only replay the first Halo, odst and reach. 2 3 and sad to say it... 4 sorta sucked. They were awesome to play on realease, but every time I go back I just see the massive lack of story development boring alien AI. reach and odst are entertaining still due to the twist is story lines

4 RepliesAside from the fact that you're trolling. Or at least you've cried troll so many times, I immediately assume you are. The only people still playing Halo have been playing multiplayer for years now. They might be reading a book or two here and there, but they spend most of their time worried about which gun to shoot the other guy with to really be concerned about lore at this point. They probably haven't replayed a campaign in quite some time and if they did, they'd realize it made about as much sense as any other Bungie game (which is very little). I'll give it to 343i for trying to actually make sense of Bungie's super vague history, but from my experiences with Bungie for 22 years now, I can tell you they made up all that stuff on the fly. With regards to Halo, I don't even think they put much effort into it. They knew that when their contract was over, Microsoft would walk away with the rights to Halo and they didn't want any of their best ideas to be lost forever. Shit, am I trolling now? Nah, but seriously embellishing a negative viewpoint for sure.
