Ok so he got the Marty situation close to what happened. But until either Joe or Bungie come out and confirm it, its speculation. You can't honestly believe that some random tester would know the small details about a major employee being fired or any of the circumstances that go with it. Anything a third party would know would in itself be rumor / speculation. So if that person goes online and posts a rumor he heard at a job that he himself said he wasn't a permanent employee, it's still just a rumor. We will know eventually. Until then, why does it even matter. Either play or don't.

Edited by harrymfa: 9/7/2015 9:23:55 PMWe will never know the actual facts because they sign confidentiality agreements. Release of court files is possibly the closest we can get. As far as this interview goes, I'm inclined to believe it. Many of us felt something was wrong or missing when this game launched, and what's in the interview matched the missing piece like cake and frosting.

Yes but it only contains information that was discussed online and then the author's speculation about said released information. It reads like a short story based off limited information and Internet rumor. And because of the NDA we may never really know.

Edited by harrymfa: 9/7/2015 9:57:50 PMI believe it because it patches a lot of wholes in the story. Perfectly. A lot of parts make plenty of sense (Each race had its own story sounds much better than this race exists because... Who the eff knows). I said earlier if the story is not true, it's way too convincing. It has not been disproven, and in fact more things have come to light backing it.

Another "conspiracy theorist" who didn't read. Only things confirmed is: - Activision used their own music in a trailer in 2013. - Destiny's story was changed after that. - Harold Ryan was an asshole when he fired Marty and tried to reclaim all of his shares. We already knew all of this. Only new stuff in the court case is: - Activision threatened to declare Breach of Contract when Marty stirred up trouble. - Marty violated copyright law when he shared Music of The Spheres. - Marty is getting half of his shares back.

Edited by harrymfa: 9/7/2015 9:25:59 PMWell, it's obvious that the development of the game wasn't peaches and cream, and this piece of official information fits everything else here like a glove.
