Stop putting Full Auto on Scout Rifles and Pulse Rifles. (the Apple Jacks fallacy)

Full Auto on Scout Rifles and Pulse Rifles makes no sense. When a Scout Rifle is Full Auto, it is an Auto Rifle. When a Pulse Rifle is Full Auto, its silly. The reason guns fire in pulses or bursts is so that the user is forced to conserve ammo. This feature was invented during the Vietnam war because soldiers were running out of ammo too quickly firing their M16's in full auto. If a burst firing weapon were changed to fire in full auto mode, then the gun would no longer fire in bursts, it would fire in full auto. Keep the ballistics and weapon classes based in reality. When you start taking liberties to make things handle better, like Full Auto on the weapons, you set some kind of precedent of nonsense. I know that the slippery slope is a logical fallacy, but where do you stop? I mean, why even reload weapons, if clearly the magazines couldn't possibly hold or put any ammo in the weapon? Full Auto on Scout Rifles stole the thunder of Auto Rifles in HoW. The best Scout Rifles in HoW were the ones that rolled Full Auto and some other perk. Are you going to continue offering Full Auto on this weapon class going forward? Is this why you are now placing Auto Rifles into the short to mid-range category? I am aware that Full Auto offers no increase in fire rate. That isn't the issue. The issue is the weapon classes being to similar; overlap. To me, the idea of the Scout Rifle is the Designated Marksmen Rifle. Instead of just one particular gun, you have a weapon class that has multiple different possible looks and stats. Full Auto has turned what was a gimmick on raid weapon's into a whole weapon class that has changed its identity. Maybe they should be called high impact auto rifles, and auto rifles should be called personal defense weapons? I have to admit, I use both Oversoul Edict and Vision of Confluence. I mostly use them because they have elemental damage, not because they are full auto. The thing about Oversoul Edict is that it is a very difficult weapon to control, and having Full Auto makes it much easier to kill in the fastest time. Accuracy is not as important as bullet volume because the gun is a burst variant of the bullet hose auto rifle. This weapon archetype shouldn't really exist in the first place, but since it does, it should have a magazine that is comparable to the Auto Rifles of the same Impact rating. I edited the post and added whats below, and its actually probably worth reading: One of the ways that Full Auto could be implemented in the future if it should stay around, would be to have it cause a reduction in Stability. If you think about it, the reason Scout Rifles are not already Full Auto is because the recoil is supposed to be too high to warrant that rate of fire. Full Auto should account for this by reducing the Stability of the gun, causing it to have greater recoil, requiring control. If you take Vision of Confluence for example, the gun resets back to the handling position on pace with its rate of fire. There should be a draw-back to Full Auto going forward, I really hope that there is. Tl;DR: The Full Auto perk on Scout Rifles and Pulse Rifles is rendering Auto Rifles obsolete. Edit: I have now experienced the forums. Never have I received so much garbage posts by so many worthless shitheads commenting on anything I've put on the internet. The Mute button is strong with this one.

Full auto does nothing on scouts. Quit crying. The reason they should take it away is that the perk basically does nothing to improve the weapon's power, not because of what you are saying.
