1 ReplyMission 18. By FAAAR the worst designed mission I've ever played in a video game. Seriously what the -blam!-?

10 RepliesEdited by ObamaBinLaden: 9/9/2015 5:27:47 PMSave Data Corruption Warning: Do not take quiet on mission 29 or mission 42, as this will put you at risk of data corruption On topic, it is actually the second easiest that i have played. I've S-ranked at least 80% of the missions so far, and have yet to get lower than a B (once). I can give you some tips if you have anything specific you are having trouble with.

It's pretty simple really. I feel like they made it really easy. I don't have a perfect score in every mission, but I could if I tried. Especially if you take the time and care to build up your base. Tranq sniper is super useful
-
Have you ever played the older mgs games? Those forced you to be stealthy. At least mgs5 gives you the option to go guns blazing in most missions. (But there are those few that must be done stealthily).
Does anyone else think so or do I just have to git gud? About 60% of my missions end up in a shooting :(
Probably need more practice and different loadout. Im not that great in stealth either but i usually put dem to sleep , stick em.n interrogate the soilders ... after extract or dump dem in the field :D

1 ReplyIt depends when u do the missions. At night it's an easy stealth game with a iota of patience to mark 1st. But during the day u need to Plan and keep track of line of sights etc. I just play in day light to enjoy the graphics and the extra challenge
-
I usually stealth through and get A or S I suggest using DD and be patient plus nighttime is of course the most opportune time for infil. And using empty magazines to lure people is clutch at times scout thoroughly but for stealth honestly DD to me is the best buddy to work with
-
3 RepliesI agree. I still suck but it's a lot easier at night. I like that game doesn't punish you too badly for being awful tho.
-
4 RepliesPlay MGS3 and tell me that.
-
14 RepliesAaand btw guys, have you experienced the following as well?: Quiet seems really bugged for me, I take her on a missions, then she moves to a random position and.. Well that's it, she doesn't follow up or anything and is completely useless
-
You just have to git gud. Or have patience. Or just shoot everyone in the leg with a tranq and keep doing it as they all run over to him. Then hold them all up.
-
Wait till your futher in the game You have reflex disabled on most mission or perfect stealth where if You get caught it game over n You restart
-
4 RepliesGet good lol try playing last light then you'll know true pain
-
1 ReplyDon't use quiet on missions 29 an 42 it's a save corruption all your saved progress might be erased
-
6 RepliesI like the game stealth mechanics. The AI is often unpredictable, which is awesome because people are unpredictable. Like countless have said, always recon as much as possible. Also, if you want to draw the enemy out, get to the edge of the base, lay c4 get up to a safe distance and blow it up. It causes even the sneaky hidey inside buildings enemies to move from their positions.
-
1 ReplyHey man it's all good you don't have to get your skills up. Go out and develop all the rocket/grenade launchers, mines heavy machine guns and shit........then go Rambo on den scrubs.
-
2 RepliesThe stealth mechanics are great. The AI is not. Sometimes it's ridiculously easy and other times randomly hard. I find it difficult to accept the stealth aspect when Snake is the loudest thing in the world.
-
As a mentor said earlier, the stealth is great, the AI isn't though. They are extremely stupid snd easy to avoid/lose if you're about to get caught or did get caught. I've beat every mission with an S rank because The AI was just too easy. FOB missions on the other hand present a slight difficulty increase when you vs a high level base that have mines, decoys, drones, Motion detectors, cameras & a shit ton of guards on such a small platform.

5 RepliesWhatever you dew...don't let steel dreams melt your beams.
-
5 RepliesWhat makes it hard is the clunky aiming and movement.
-
5 RepliesTry Dishonored staying undetected and without killing... without reloading a save. That is the hardest stealth game.
-
2 RepliesTry Splinter Cell games. Those are entirely about sneaking around and being quiet

-
4 RepliesWell you must have never played sniper elite.
-
1 ReplyLots of slow movement and survey your target area from a high vantage point from multiple perspectives, then proceed into the area. Keep in mind there will always be a few guys you cannot see in buildings or just tight corners.
