Cyberpunk: The Map ((Page 1))

CEDYETICA: — Tokyo Town: A small town inspired by the culture and architecture of Japan. Bright colors and marvelous mechanical inventions are abound, as well as exotic and strange foods and residents. Centra: The "main zone" of Cedyetica, a busy populous fills the busy streets here, as well as various businesses, which are found in the skyscrapers and smaller buildings of Centra. Trains slide along rails which trail through the air above Centra, leading people to their occupations. Some Cyber-Mercs and cyber-junkies dwell in the alleys here too. Neo-Centra: The nexus of the richest men and women of Cedyetica, not a sign of poverty to be found. Also known as "The White City" because of the town's main color scheme being white, a good color to match the sleek, smooth and slick architecture and blossom tree gardens found in there. There are no Cyber-Police serving as security here, only Synths who pose as regular people of wealth who resides there. If there is trouble in Neo-Centra, the Synths are sure to silence it. Downtown: The darker region of Cedyetica, equally populated by criminals and the Cyber-Police who hunt them down. The architecture is poor and run down, and trash skitters across the abandoned roads in which the Police march. Only trouble is found here. The Sewers: Known as the "Cedyetica Underground," home to the biggest mafias and drug groups in Cedyetica. Small shanty towns are built along pipelines and subterranean reservoirs which sewage floods through, and dangerous people roam through them, consuming illegal materials and arming weapons which could be used against the others living with them. Oasis: A colossal garden grown by the architects of Cedyetica, rbarrem of business or crime: only peace and quiet. Towering trees as tall the the Centra skyscrapers loom over ferns and wooden houses scattered through the forest. Wise people reside in Oasis, and are willing to share their wise words with visitors. The Coast: Cedyetica was born on the edge of its continent, so on the outer edges of the city, a foggy ocean stretches for miles ahead. The coast is only home to animals, boatsmen, and lighthouse owners, so if you want to come here to relax, that's exactly what you should do: this place is the right one for that. Sector-2: On the outskirts of Cedyetica, a long forgotten area of the city lies, dilapidated and overgrown by plant life from a classified origin. This place was the first area of construction for the city of Cedyetica, the original Centra, but now a mysterious mini-apocalypse has struck the place, and it has been long shut off from society, deep in the wilderness of the Cedyetican continent. People still live there, believe it or not, but they have changed... evolved into something horrible. ROSSKAYA: — Clockmetal: The central town of Rosskaya. Metal houses billow smoke from their chimneys as the families inside try to keep warm in front of their furnaces as snow falls outside; small markets of fish and other meats are built along the streets; public beheadings of Psions can be seen inside the Clockmetal Plaza, in front of the great landmark of Rosskaya, the Cecil's Clocktower. What a happy place. - Blakham District: The labor district of Rosskaya. Weapons and machinery are made inside of the humongous metal factories and mining yards here, where workers hand-build cybernetic augmentations and weaponry, some miserable as their boredom sinks in and their strength seeps away while others are happy as they put together mechanisms for their Cyborg paragons. - Temples of Kiber: A snowy field of large stone temples and gas lamp-lit stone roads where Rosskayans gather to give Cyborgs home-made augmentations and pray to their cybernetic paragons. In the Temples, Cyborgs rest to gather their gifts from their believers, while on the roads of stone they gather appraisal. The only sounds here are the flurrying snowfall, the pitter-patter of boots stepping against stone, and the praise of Rosskaya to Cyborgs. - The Pits: Two large craters of dirt and rock devoid of snow, surrounded and overshadowed by thick, dome-shaped fencing. Within these craters, utter carnage between combative men and women takes place here, on foot and within vehicles, to entertain the people of Rosskaya. - The Tundra: A forest blanched white with snow and frost, surrounding Rosskaya along the city's outskirts. Wildlife and nature is found here, among frozen lakes and mountainous terrain slippery with ice. Human hunters traverse the Tundra with their snow walkers, lumbering through the snow as they search for game with their rifles. TRYNT: — Greenholm: The central town of Trynt. Houses of both wood and cobblestone are built here, lining the stone streets branching through the town. Moss and lichen grows throughout, containing the city's natural spirit. Tryntians stride in overcoats and blouses and other fancy clothing through the streets and over the bridges arching across the Bunderman River, sometimes dining at cafés or watching street performers with amusement. As well as a tourist trap, it is also the "testing" ground of the newly produced Reaver droids of the Cyber-Police. - Joppling's Museum: The largest museum in the world, so big that it is considered as a town of Trynt. The history of Felghast and it's regions is told here by automated kiosks found all over the place with AI programmed to answer any historical question. As well as stunning art pieces and statues, other relics of the past are found here, such as ancient weapons and other devices. And, unsurprisingly, the Museum is heavily guarded by patrolling Cyber-Police. - The Scrapyards: The junkyard of Trynt, located on the outskirts of the city. One of the largest junkyards in Paranorm, it is nearly the size of a whole town, and is actually inhabited by a strange lot of people called Scavengers by all who don't live there, a animalistic society of cloaked men and women who wear mechanical masks to hide their hooded faces. Once a heap of junk is poured into the Yards, these folks will come to it eagerly and attempt to create whatever they can out of what they find in it. This seems to be an addiction among them, and are rumored to use some sort of technological "magic" to "bring their creations to life." They do not have an abundant source of food, so they use cannibalism to quench their hungers, eating each other's limbs in a daily ritual. They replace these eaten limbs with prosthetics they make out of the junk they find in their home. They are hostile to anything foreign to the Scrapyards. - Bunderman Lake: The gigantic lake into which the Bunderman River runs. Boats sail across its gentle blue waters, and small shore cabins are built in the sand surrounding the lake. There are small islands in the center of the lake where wealthy men and women rent the mansions built on them for vacation. - The Caverns: The Tryntian equivalent to Cedyetica's Sewers. Rather than sewage tunnels subway stations though, there are subterranean ponds and stalactite and stalagmite-surrounded passageways branching through Trynt's underworld, some apparent while others hidden. There are also ancient dungeons made of rusting iron built in the caves, where the skeletal remains of long dead prisoners sit, left to die there for unknown reasons. As well as criminals, other creatures that should be left undiscovered lurk in the darkness of the limestone caves... - Steedhall Wood: The lush green forest surrounding the city of Trynt. Mist and fog blankets the land, making eeriness rise in the gut of it's human explorers. Large oak trees grow abundantly, looming over the bushes that grow beneath them. The forest ascends in some parts to rocky mountains covered in jagged rocks and boulders, which can lead to a fantastic view of the city. - The Plains: The grasslands of Trynt, near the outskirts of the city. It is a simplistic masterpiece of nature's art, where only moist green grass grows over gently rolling hills. Built here are ancient stone castles, some squat like fortresses while others loom like towers. Only peace and the remnants of forgotten times are found here.
