Being a new player is not a bad thing. Neither is being a veteran. Signs of a new player are things like: Don't know how to run relic at Templar and atheon. Don't know how to run sword. Consistently go negative in pvp.
However as I mentioned, none of these are bad things. If everyone was a veteran, the game would be boring. I love taking new players into raids and pvp. It's fun and a learning experience. And if I only played with people who have been playing as long as I have, I wouldn't find any joy in the game. Raids would be a snooze.

The problem is the people who don't know how to relic never get to learn because the elitists only let people who know how to use the relic pick it up
-
I always insist that someone new tries the relic if they haven't done it before. That way they are more prepared for atheon.

Me to but we are in the minority

Yeah, I have done vog a number of times.... I have no clue how to use the relic.

Ummm.... I suck at PvP, consistently between .7 and 1.0... And I've been playing long enough to not be a noob. Just a PvP loser. :P

I don't do that great at Crucible either. Never really put much time into it before. But now I am enjoying it more but I still don't care what my KD is. I run objective based games mostly and focus on that. Also I have finished MoT with my main and just started my Warlock this past Friday morning.
