I wish they were doing the preview because they love their community but it just feels like they're looking for a sales bump to pad low numbers compared to last years pre-orders.
Granted that feeling comes from mistrust so I hope I'm wrong.

Thanks for clearing up that they're a company? I googled company and you're right! I think Bungie and Activision fit the bill! When I said "love for the community" I meant something more along these lines which is something a good company does.

And its the internet and quick forms of communication that have turned the consumer into a bumbling child in need of constant attention. Its pretty pathetic how much everyone is willing to scream negativity. These days we choose to hurt companies with words instead of our wallets. We yell and scream entitlement regarding dissatisfaction with a product, giving heavenly grace to the all mighty dollar as the martyr lost in a battle of satisfaction. Its -blam!-ing pathetic what the consumer has become and this article is just a way for the company to play control over it, it has nothing to do with them actually giving a shit.

In an effort to stay on the topic I'll simplify what I meant earlier with the love thing and then with the article. I understand that companies act in self-interest. Saying I hope a company acts out of love for its community means there is a hope that Bungie is changing its method of operation to become a better company which benefits both consumers and the company. I mean I hope that Bungie is attempting to repair a tarnished reputation (regardless being deserved or not) instead of attempting to pad preorder numbers.
