Bungie, about the Mercy rule, & Lord shaxx is boring, annoying, & hasn't earned the right to yell @ me..

I have had multiple come backs, where a team had between 16,000-18,000 points, & we had between 11,000-13,000 points, & we came back and won... It feels great!! It's amazing!!! Are you removing that opportunity from us???? Why, again, are you catering to cry babies??? All the kiddies are gone!! They're gearing up for COD BO 3. The grown ups are still here. Make a mercy game mode for the babies.

  • It is not quite as you see it. There needs to be a massive spread, like 18K to 4K and the losing team down a few players. I am all for this, especially in Iron Banner. It gets so irritating to be put into a match where the first thing you hear is "Heavy Ammo Available" while spawning. Before you can even move you are hit by a rocket or somebody's Super. There is absolutely no fun in that at all.

    • Considering that there's a medal for defeating a team at more than 10000 points, in gonna guess that once a 15000 point difference is achieved, the mercy rule will take affect.

Hey Stevo, It's looks like the mercy rule will only apply to games that are moving to an end game scores of: 20,000 to 4,000 and less (in control for example). If the rate at which the difference between the scores is building up is arrested, then the game will play out normally. This maintains the "epic" clutch opportunity. - which like you I enjoy. The total number of games effected is much less than 1% of total games played. This doesn't seem like much of an issue provided it is correctly implemented - which I'm sure it will be.

        • The games with scores you posted will not have the mercy rule happen to them. It's for the games with the winning team having an outrageous lead and it is impossible for the losing team to come back. The reasons why a team loses so badly will be different but for the most part it's because people keep leaving the lobby. I kind of like the mercy rule idea but I am not buying TTK, so I won't be seeing how well the system works.

          • Mercy rule is a 10,000-12,000 point lead I believe

            • I back out due to lag only which is a huge issue. I can barely get a match anymore that isn't all red bar. Yes, I am LAN with high speed internet for gaming. Most people I know stay in a match even if they are getting beat horribly but back out as soon as everyone goes red bar or a lag switch is thrown. I'd like to see this issue addressed by bungie.

              • Anytime they suspect PvP players are unhappy they jump to fix, nerf, or alter game play to encourage ppl to stay in a match or actually play. Yet you ask for matchmaking so you can actually play PvE content and it's like your asking them to sacrifice a first born child. Bungie is a joke.

Unfortunately the human race has devolved into a bunch weak little girly men whiners, regardless of age. Destiny is loaded with millions of players who DVR I Am Cait. Solid human beings and real men are a minority these days. There was a a few years where normal people started gaming. Now it's resorted back to the midnight release, basement dwelling, albino mutants that we all used to pick on.

                  • I think the mercy setting are for games that you have ZERO chance of winning. Like that 6 person fireteam in control is crushing you 3000- 12000 and its just not worth it to keep going

                    • I think it should be used in the extreme cases like a 8000-18000 game
