It's an animation in a video game. Why is an animation making you angry? Why do you feel emotional when someone does it to you? Are you that soft and pathetic that a teabag actually upsets you?
There are people who get fueled to play better by getting tea bagged from the opposing team. That's completely fine and normal. But there are actual people that take teabagging to the heart which scares me:
Are you that soft?
Edit-So after these responses and my endless laughing at people comparing a video game to real life, I've come to realize that most of you are soft.
Edit 2-So as for the people disagreeing and taking teabagging so seriously, I want to thank those of you who support my post in realizing it is just a video game. You are all the MVP's
**Teabagging intensifies**
Edit 3-The replies of saltiness are still coming in. Shoutout to the players that support this post and realize it's a video game
Edit 4-GT is same as my name here on Xbox one. Message me and let's play an teabag people together :)))))
Edit 5-This post is still getting replies, good afternoon from the east coast guardians!

T-bagging is fine but when people do it after: -someone else killed the person they're T-bagging -they killed the person they're T-bagging with a super Then I get -blam!-ing pissed.

Edited by TheStallmoph: 9/6/2015 7:22:59 PMWhat makes an interaction in a game any less real than an interaction in real life? You're still dealing with people. They just feel empowered by the anonymity. At the end of the day, if you are a douchebag in a game I have to assume you are a douchebag in real life. Anonymity just enhances it. Saying it's just an animation is like saying a text message is just words. They both convey a message. Whether it be in game or real life, I try to conduct myself in a manner that respects people. If I get owned, I send a message saying gg. If I own someone, I don't feel the need to rub their face in it. I always appreciate it when others do the same. It's not about being soft, it's about being a person. That being said, I also recognize it as a tactic to get people pissed. I don't like it, but it can be useful. I tend to not teabag because I don't like the atmosphere it creates. I feel it undermines the idea of friendly competition. Some people love the back and forth though.

Shooting the dead body gets more jimmies rustled. Then the true war begins.

Teabagging is for morons...
-
Because the world is an overly sensitive place now.
-
It's annoying but if I get Teabagged you're my new target. TBH it used to really bother me but idk why anymore. It just makes me want to kill you and do it back. It actually turns into a fun match when it's on equal terms and has actually turned into some odd friendships.
-
I find it impolite.
-
It's poor sportsmanship, you can justify it anyway you want, but it doesn't change what it is. It's the same reason gloating was forbidden in football post-touchdown. It's showing a lack of respect towards fellow players.
-
It's awesome. It says "you suck, I just owned you and I am going to stand here and mock you" I love it. I usually forget about it until someone does it to me. Then Game on. I actually make pvp a lot more fun for me.

1 ReplyWhy do u get emotional when someone talks about your mother? Its all just words, just pretend it means something else

1 ReplyI teabag you all the time shut up you're not cool
-
People get so but hurt cuz they're sensitive little 9 year olds
-
1 ReplyToo much tea bagging causes me to chafe. My skin is sensitive. Don't need to get a rash. Also I'm not very good in crucible, so when I'm tea bagged it's funny. Anybody taking pride in killing me needs to reexamine their goals. It's like shooting fish in a barrel then talking trash to the fish. There are times I should activate radiance and tea bag myself.

1 ReplyPeople today are over sensitive pussies

I think it's funny there's so many people butt hurt about something so trivial, but then again, people are way too bent-wristed these days lmao. I t-bag all the time, and you can't even imagine how many messages I get in the crucible. I always think, "is it really THAT big of a deal?!"

Something about having a pair of balls in your mouth Maybe??
-
Well it's annoying if people who are getting annihilated still teabagging you. I don't get mad,I just teabag them back xD
-
It can just be annoying, especially when it's done by a player who's clearly no good (Thorn users anyone). Personally, if you teabag me, I make it my business to make the rest of the match a living hell for you.

I usually just laugh
usually
I get annoyed when I get teabagged by an obviously inferior player. So when I do, I make sure to shit sack him.

Wow. I'm amazed at some of the responses. Respect, honor, pride, maturity... IT'S A VIDEO GAME! Remember that? A video game for crying out loud. Never could I have imagined that, one day, people would take this so seriously. What has happened to you that would cause you to be offended or upset by a taunt in a video game? When you shut off your console, what does any of what you just did mean? Nothing. Just a bunch of data on a server somewhere. It's only entertainment. Video games are made to amuse the masses. Stop taking it personally. There's always going to be people that are cocky, arrogant or just plain don't give a shit about what they do online. Get over it.

1 ReplyI have to admit, after some time it gets annoying. But not something to get upset about. I've seen worse taunts in many games. How do you like someone yelling MAGGOT when you die?
