Why is there a number next to the sword? (Resembles number of bullets a gun would have) can anyone explain that to me? When the number next to the sword goes to zero, does that ran the sword won't be usable until you use a heavy Ammo synth?

The amount of energy the sword has. Each uppercut swing did about 5 for that sword, the normal swing was 3 I think. And yeah, when it's energy goes to 0, you can't use it anymore until you use a synth.

It has an ammo count just like everything else. Guessing every swing is one and it'll be some sort of "energy" or some bs like that
