If you are holding 10 5k bounties so you can power level to 40 on day 1, you better not come back to the forums and complain about finishing all the content as soon as possible. No one is going to feel sorry for you. ..
I know you will anyway...
Sincerely,
90% of day 1 players that remain silent in this forum and just enjoy the game.
Edit 1: Clarification on completed bounties would be good
Edit 2: This post is not saying that the act of doing this is wrong. This post is saying that people who do this shouldn't complain if they fly through content and have nothing to do by the end of the month.
Edit 3: I'm not saying that hoarding is wrong. I'm saying that it is going to create whiners.
Edit 4: 580 replies over night. ..

yup, stocking up for the new sub-classes first.
-
So... Basically this entire post has been created to defend Bungie for releasing a DLC that isn't even out yet (despite the fact that it might potentially be lacking in content) and that pretty much amounts to the same as full price release? Hmm... Desticle confirmed.
-
I'm going to use them to power lvl my new subclasses
-
I just wanna have my subclass maxed out as fast as possible so i can discover all the good synergies

All bounties will be auto deleted when TTK is released unless it's an exotic bounty where as its immediately finished
-
How about you worry about yourself bigguy.... kthx
-
you shoul edit to say 16 bounties instead of 10 just so you can laugh at us no lifes
-
I'm also hoarding public event packages.
-
Yo man, bitches will be bitches. Ppl who whine will always whine. It doesnt matter if they hoard bounties or not. Tbh the only thing thats worth bitching about in this game is pvp. Aint nobody can stay sane after goin through all that lag and 7 months btw wep balances.
-
How fast you level doesn't change the amount of content, or lack thereof.
-
I have a couple I've saved. Just to get going. I play bits and bobs so much that ill get there pretty quickly
-
There is no logic to your statement, there is not relationship between level and content. So just stop, really just take a break
-
I just want..... to SING!!!

What kind of clarification are you looking for? Be more constructive with your feedback!

Edited by BLWigglyAkA: 9/4/2015 5:49:07 PMday one here .. I could careless. just playing as it come .. im not stacking shit
-
It shouldn't even be possible to get to level 40 on day 1. That's a Bungie problem.
-
Agreed
-
did anyone read the update notes today is says something about vanguard bounties being deleted and exotic ones being auto completed so im wondering if holding on to bounties is going to matter at all.
-
#feelbadfor me
-
I'm doing it to get raid ready. After that, I am making a new guardian, jumping it up to 25, grabbing new subclass and then taking it through the whole game with Northbot. Of course at level 20 plus difficulty.
-
I'm only turning them in once I have my new subclass
-
Edited by Lil_The_Myth: 9/4/2015 5:31:18 PMSo if i hit level 40 that doesn't mean the game unlocks all missions and completes them so i dont get rewards i still have to do all the content
-
I'm a day one player, I'm storing bounties and public event completions. I enjoy the pve in the game but I power leveling so I can start learning the new meta in crucible. I'm definitely going to play the heck out of that new raid but I want to use my storm caller to the best of its ability as soon as possible
-
My plan is speed level one character, somewhat speed level my second then take it slow on my low level.
-
I have a feeling (if you're 34 atm) you'll be able to get to 40 or at least 39 on the 15th just by playing through the story, doing that days bounties and any random quests available. People saving 50k exp isn't going to change much besides accelerating their subclass progression a bit (probably like 2 or 3 nodes iirc). PS: I think it's so funny that people keeping throwing out "day 1 player" like it means anything other than that you either were a part of the beta, pre-ordered or bought the game release day. People keep trying to link "day 1 player" to being mature and reserved when the game has a Teen rating and there were undoubtedly preteens playing on release day.
