Wait, did you say that the ghosts were created in the Black Garden?

They might have been. They sprung from the traveler, and there's a possibility that the Garden is in her. But also that there's seven separate solar systems in her... either way it's all theory.

Yes if I am not mistaken the original purpose of the vex were to harvest ghosts until 272 rogue vex accepted a different reality due to thoughts or feelings of doubt or regret from Alpha Lupi herself.
