What do you guys think of swords for TTK?
Looks cool and at some point the blocking will come in handy but as a heavy weapon slot I will stick with rockets.

It'll be fun. Just wish particle beams were a new heavy and not just I existence through Sleeper Stimulant

Haven't tried any because of the whole...you know...TTK NOT being released yet and whatnot.

3 RepliesI'm just concerned that you can now have the ability to use third person mode whenever you switch to heavy in pvp, even without ammo. This could give huge advantages in some situations.

I think it is awesome that the have swords. I always wanted to have one. It was unfair that only the knights from the hive get to keep them

They look good. But they didn't seem do much damage. Would have been better to add a new slot for them instead of putting them in heavy slot.

Not as excited after seeing them as I was when I first heard of them. The animations look lame, worse than the Crota blades, which actually have very nice animations. Looks entirely juvenile and out of place as of now. I'll still try 'em out, but eh

The swords were made specifically for me. (wild guess) My personal play style is up close and personal. I pretty much live my life as a Titan in melee range so these are perfect for me. I use a shotgun more than any primary so this will compliment my style well. Im very happy and excited to get my hands on one of these energy blades.

19 RepliesI think swords in this game are for children. Its suppose to be the future but not many if any weapons seem to be futuristic. A sword seems like a step backward instead of forward to me.

I think in PvP they'll be next to useless. Think about it. When heavy rounds drop,how often are you close enough to use a melee let alone a freaking sword?

1 ReplyLol, anyone remember the sword from halo 2 and the way people bitched about that? And in the rest of the game series? Maybe it being in a heavy slot will help it from being too silly. As to me using them personally I am way into it, it sounds like fun.
