Who else will be pissed if they hit 40 in under 12 hours?
Those 6 levels better take a long time to get. I don't want this house of wolves shit again

Edit2: okay everyone I know the grind is getting higher light level. You don't have to keep saying it. I want the actual leveling process to be longer than 1-20.
Edit: the only way to play end for 5 months is if the bosses were dynamic. Now I'm not talking about phases or anything. I'm talking about a fight so dynamic that each time you fight it you need to learn it. Now I know a lot of people would say "well that's too hard for average/casual players" and I say -blam!- them. It's endgame content it isn't for casuals. Yeah I don't know where this rant came from, but I know bungie wouldn't even think of doing this or if they did it would be out of a small pool of phases and all you'd have to do is memorize the 5 or less phases. Bungie make some true endgame content.

If I hit 40 within 12 hours of release, it's because of the many more hours preparing. Stocking up daily packages and bounties should certainly count toward that hour count.

all i care about is STORY. i want there to be an actual story and i want it to last longer than 5 hours. Call of Duty games might not be bought for their stories, but they are all longer than this and they are all actually pretty decent. Hell, I REALLY enjoyed the first 2 black ops' stories.

After I blast through the story I'll just be chilling in the court of oryx until I'm maxed. But honestly I think you can hit 40 from 34 just by playing story missions and strikes.

OVB It will take us a few hours to max the lvl. Already forgot ... It's bungie : the best for bullshiting advertisement, and for not taking care of us. Let's just hope that they have really done the raid this time.

Something tells me there is a ton of precedent for level grinding/benchmarks. I think the grind will be real but not oppressive and you will not be 40 in a few hours.

You seem to be forgetting that the whole leveling/strength systems have been completely changed. Getting to 40 isn't going to mean a whole lot. Light will be the true determining factor going forward. We won't even be able to equip exotics until lvl 40 (yr 2 ttk ones anyway)

Thing is level 40 isn't the big aim, you still need to get your light level up, all your level will do is allow you to access other activities.

Lol these tryhards will hit lvl 40 with all three characters, finish the raid if it came out the same day, max out all whatever new exotic they'll get, find all the new ghost, play 20 rounds of each new pvp game mode in under 12 hours then come on the forums complaining how there is not enough content in ttk.
