How so?

It's a clan for splitting up the genders of players. Aren't we already split enough with four supported consoles?
-
That's a poor argument against it. It's not sexist. Sexism in a clan would be excluding other players for being male/female in a derogatory manner They've merely created a clan of all women for the sake and desire to be around their own sex. There are certain discussions and actions that are only generally understood by that sex. They have created a place to speak freely on those subjects. There are all male clans as well. There are clans for veterans, fathers, military personel, Americans only, et cetera. They have something in common with each other and wish to interact with those who have it.

While I see your point, and I do agree with it, sexism does not have to be derogatory. It's simply excluding somebody based only on their sex, which is sexist. And believe me, I don't agree with all male clans, either. I wish there was better integration. Same with clans for certain careers. While it may be more comfortable, there's nothing better than being together groups of different people to form one big gaming experience. Everybody learns new things and grows as individuals. Clans by region make sense, since people want a common language or time zone, hence there being clans for certain countries. And I don't believe there would be anything females would need to exclusively speak about that makes couldn't understand and vice versa that pertained to the gaming environment. I guess it's a good place to go for those who wish to escape the harassment, but it's just a shame to see them try to shut out a huge population of gamers rather than create a mixed group for all to interact together. It seems like a loss for those who wish to play together and can't because they're not a specific gender, you know?

Edited by Smiggles: 9/3/2015 4:07:27 PMYour entire counter argument is based on the assumption that any concentrated clan or group of people solely interact with that group of people. Which, in all reality, is completely and undeniably unrealistic and simply not true. Diversity is wonderful. Of course These people are not barring themselves to play or converse only with those who are similar to them. Further more Even if they did there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. They're creating an experience enjoyable to them. They're not attacking or hurting anyone around them. Yes There are a multitude of topics that can be discussed that only (as afore mentioned generally ) a single group of individuals portraying a particular trait would understand. To say that they alone would isn't true however. At times it is merely easier and safer to discuss those topics with those who experience or have experienced the same things.
I mean. Vaginal discharge in public Guys (or those without a vagina) could listen and empathize but having not experienced it They wouldn't understand it completely. Vice versa with male anatomy or veterans experiencing live fire.
It's still sexist ( •-•)

I agree. Now who will I hound for noods?
giv me noods
