Taken king $40 extra stuff is released day of taken king for $20 for the emotes shaders and class items

Can you further elaborate? Im a year one player since release I had the two DLCs and I understand that I can have the new DLC for 40 but I want the emotes and class stuff too. Do I have to buy the better edition of the game just to get those?
