As someone who actively trys to get a higher grimoire score I can tell you it DOES NOT = skill. Let me tell you why. All grimoire is, is grinding no skill envolved. You go kill an ogre over and over. You go camp dark beyond mission and kill 10k enemies with a pulse rifle. You go farm patrol VIP missions. Go do a bunch of public events. You participate in pvp (you don't have to be good to get grimoire in pvp, just get kills. People who are good will finish faster but you can still do it) you go gather ghosts. Grimoire is just something to do when your bored if you don't go play other games. My friends and I are basically done with the game. We only need like 2 weapon's to have every exotic in the game. We have completed all content. So a few hours a week we get on together and grind grimoire. Basically we are down to just pvp kills and completing a certain number of different pvp game modes. I also need a few more kills and VIP patrol. (VIP patrol takes the longest and is the most boring OMG!) Anyone who thinks grimoire means skill is batshit crazy. Any Christmas newb with time on their hands can finish it. Its all a grind. I've played since day one and up until a month ago I had just over 2800 now I'm almost 3500. Its all a grind. That's it period end of discussion. All grimoire shows is that you have played a ton! That doesn't equal skill. You can play everyday have Max grimoire and still suck ass. Now somene with 3500+ griomoire is more likely to be more skilled because they have played a lot and know the game but its doesn't mean they are. I've ran into people that have 3400+ and die over and over in vog. Hell my nephew has 3510 grimoire and almost all the pvp grimoire done and he will even admit he is terrible at pvp. Grimoire = time played and dedication to killing hordes of enemies. NOT SKILL
