Make it like every 50 wins will get you there. Winning would still completely matter. This alone would solve the problem of the haves and have nots. It would also give a reason for everyone to run trials and not just the hardcore elites. Trials is one of the most intense pvp modes I've ever played and it should be accessible to everyone.
Before I hear the whole get good crap i will say that no i haven't been flawless. I've been close a few times but tend to do much better in an Iron Banner like mode.
Edit #1:
Maybe the solution is matchmaking based on how many players on the team have gone flawless.

No, Trials is perfect and it's getting a year 2 upgrade of equipment, that alone should get people playing it. Trials requires practice not nerfing.

I love the idea of trials though. I just think the whole if you lose once you have to start over thing is just ridiculous.

1 ReplyI am mostly a PVE player and I am bad in crucible. I really appreciate your sentiment, but I would wish for a different solution. Bring Skola's loot up to par with ToO. Maybe with a lower drop rate, but the loot in Skolas is crap and not worth the time. Nightfalls have better drops than this :-(

1 ReplyNo says I and I am a scrub, I shall get to the lighthouse by commitment and improving my game..

No they need to get better
-
Umm no get 9-0 just because your bad don't try make it easy
-
Nope earn it

In the end, I can't imagine Bungie likes that all the LFG groups look for flawless or that carrying is even a thing. All I'm saying here is that winning should be the most important thing here. Losing to a team that obliviously has a guy carrying is just infuriating because of the consequences.

8 RepliesI hope everyone makes it at some point. I don't care how. All I known is the first time I went it was a great feeling.

1 ReplyI agree with some kind of grind to get to the Lighthouse. I have asked some players with a Flawless emblem and they said they were carried. I have tried to get in with a few twitch streamers and had to wait for hours. I see the same guys carrying people over and over and over............and over again. If there was some sort of grind more people could play and the field would even out some. It would be better to grind it out with my friends verses all of us taking turns with some PVP boss.

2 Replieskinda takes the point outa going flawless no?
-
Then whats the point of having flawless goodies if all the scrubs can get them
-
I wish for everyone to make it, but I feel that they should have to obtain a flawless score card. There should be no special treatment, trials is a tournament styled game type that awards true skill in PVP. Keep at it and good luck!

I'm an older gamer and don't have the quickest reflexes to be as successful in Trials. I likely won't make it to the Lighthouse and I'm ok with that. It's the ultimate reward for skill and if my skills aren't good enough, so be it.

2 RepliesI tried my best please give me the rewards

1 ReplyMake it 100 total wins like every other Crucible mode and I'm down for it.
-
5 RepliesSo by that logic, beating the first 5 rounds of 35 PoE and getting to Skolas a certain amount of times should grant the triumph and rewards?

You get a participation trophy! You get a participation trophy! And you get a participation trophy! Everyone gets a participation trophy!
