So I've had an Xbox one since day 1 and I'm looking to build my own PC but I have no clue how much I should spend on it any advice?

At this point I would wait until the gap between the visual fidelity of the two platforms grows. Come 2020 or later, you'll be able to invest your money in a PC with a very noticeable difference in graphics.

Well it depends on the experience you want graphically), how you plan to use the PC (other than gaming), how you will play it (tv setup or monitor ). I suggest a r9 380 4gb GPU right now they have the best Fps/per dollar. Cpu wise, a 15 4690 or AMD FX 6300 with stock coolers to save money at first. Monitor wise, any ASUS or BenQ 1080p 1ms display will work just fine. Keyboards I recommend Logitech: g710+ or the Orion Spark Corsair: K70, K90. I would recommend razer as well but their products tend to be hit or miss. Mice: Logitech hands down.

4 RepliesBetween 700 dollars and however much you can afford. Remember that Processors are very important and powerful in a clean, crisp experience, so that should be one of the most expensive pieces in your set. I have and prefer an Intel Core i7 Processor, which is fabulous. You can pick one up for about 300-600 bucks. I also have an Asus Motherboard, I forget which one, but be sure to buy an Asus Motherboard for a sturdy and more organized PC. Buy a sexy case for 200 if you have any spare money. Don't go overboard on the memory, 1TB is more than enough for about ~80 games. A 1TB hard drive is 300 I believe on Amazon. You can salvage Water cooler from cheaper computers, but don't waste more than 250 on all the coolers in your PC. Buy 2 monitors for sure, because 3 is either too spacy or way to expensive. Buy bigger monitors, preferably HD. I have a +27inch Monitor (2) side by side which is awesome. Speakers if you need them are available too. Get a Nividia Graphics Card too, that will increase visual play and smoothen out the game on top of the CPU as well. The best mouse in My opinion is the Corsair M65 I believe, and the best keyboard in my opinion would have to be the Das Pro 4 Keyboard, or the Razer Black-widow Ultimate. Remember than I did not list all the pieces you need, just the most expensive and important ones and how much you should spend on them: DONTS - AMD Processor, Cheap Fans/ Not buying enough fans and skipping out on a budget (can result in your Beauty overheating and catch on fire!), Anything below an i5 Processor for today's Games. My family-friend who asked me to help his PC, he said cost him 3k, but he obviously picked up the best of the best because he works on his computer for his job a lot and does graphic design. Hope this helps!
