They charge american's $40 for the taken king and the UK £40
The UK has to pay 55% more than Americans
We should be paying £26 for the taken king
Don't you thing this is outrageous
Please share this so we can show bungie our opinions
**Edit**
The American dollar equivalent is $61 which is like buying destiny again
English
#Destiny

Ye it is ridiculous, £40 just seems so cheap

8 RepliesI think it's something to do with wages being higher here. Our minimum wage is higher than the US minimum wage so it all works it self out. Honestly if people worry so much over £40 they need to actually go out and find a decent paying job.
-
2 RepliesIt's falling on mostly deaf ears as you can see by the nasty replies from angry children here. A digital product is exempt from import tax, therefore we only have to pay the 20% VAT. Bungie/Activision are rounding the figure themselves to £40. Do as others and don't pre order, come 2 months plus...we will have surplus versions in CeX at discounted price or even eBay sooner. I myself thank you for flagging the issue. The more frequent bungie see the issue on the forum, the more they may consider not trying to pull the wool over our eyes in future.

As an American that shit is -blam!-ed up. Honestly I can't believe that they haven't fixed this shit.

6 RepliesEdited by Scoottrullo456: 9/6/2015 1:55:23 PM40 euros is $44.40 American you dick bags. One euro is equal to $1.11 in America. Do you not know anything about currency or do you just come here to lie? Quit bitching about a few dollars hoe. The American dollar equivalent is 44.40.

Never pre-order and push back by not buying it. Send a message. Make Bungie work harder. I'm waiting for the reviews and watching the fireworks or, out will be great and I'll enjoy the game. Either way it's win, win but I'll never pre-order any game again
-
2 RepliesThat's euro correct?
-
The dlc should be cheaper for the people who already have the game and other 2 expansions. Why is it the same price as the legendary edition?? Seems very unfair.
-
1 ReplyHmm.... TTK isn't here in our country so we have to pay for the TTK collection edition which is like $130

6 RepliesEdited by joeeeeeeeeee357: 9/6/2015 12:23:26 PMZavvi.com Taken king legendary edition for £40, sell destiny for about £10, sell expansion pass for about £20 on ebay, dlc for about £10, problem solved, you're now paying the equivalent of 15 U.S. Dollars
-
Got legendary edition for £36 actually - mainly cos just ttk wasn't available to preorder anywhere.

6 RepliesI purchased the taken King on the USA playstore, using amazon USA psn cards. Instructions are easily found online. No need to have the disk in the drive now either.....

1 ReplyWe are better than u! All you do is eat our food and shit everywhere and call it applesauce droppings, also I have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about! I love you UK players! Can we be friends!
-
6 RepliesShut up don't like it don't buy it.
-
2 RepliesEdited by Zinumah: 9/6/2015 11:48:28 AMJust pay for it -_-

3 RepliesYes everyone Gets it. Do we really need dozens of threads every day saying the exact same thing..... Either buy it or dont....the price isn't changing.
-
Can you add a separate option for results?
-
Everything is cheaper in the US. Petrol, food, CDs, etc. There's nothing we can do about it. Lets just deal with it and get on with our lives.
-
6 RepliesI don't think it's outrageous at all. You need to stop comparing apples to apples and instead apples to oranges. You realise that tax and duty laws will have an impact right? There are also state and sales taxes to consider in the U.S. (Not sure if it applies here) but they vary greatly state by state which isn't necessarily included in the price. There is also the cost of business to consider and EU laws, marketing and distribution. Again this wouldn't necessarily apply for those on a digital edition but there will be an element of it there. I can go to the Philippines and live like a king on £40 a week. That will barely get you by in a day in some locations in the UK. Let's all complain about how the UK rip us off on daily commodities when compared to the Asia Pacific regions. You get my point? You probably work one day in the UK and earn £40 on even the minimum wage. One day's work for what could be potentially another years entertainment. Again, I don't consider that a rip off. You take your family to that theatre and spend £50 maybe on a two hour film? That's TTK right there. Moral is, save your pocket money. Stop complaining and if you work out the time you will likely spend per hour on the game, the prices becomes pretty irrelevant.

2 RepliesWe should get it free just like health care
-
meh, it's still pretty easy to buy it cheaply no matter where you are
-
my GF bought me the Collectors edition... I'm fine thanks
-
PEOPLE CHANGE YOUR LOCATION SETTING TO THE US!!! even still it's a rip off. 120 quid for the game so far is a -blam!-ing joke. The dlc should have cost £30 for it all but that's budgievi$ion for you.
-
10 RepliesOnline I can buy the taken king legendary edition for £2 less than the taken king alone..
-
I want the expansion but only paid £36 for the original game including both DB and HOW, so I can't warrant paying more than that for just another expansion. I will be buying it, when it's discounted for Christmas.
