Cheating? This is one of those times I have to go all out. As a father of two I have every right to call you a -blam!-ing retard. Backing out of a trials match is not cheating, its frowned upon yes, but it's not cheating. The fact that you grounded your son for something like this tells me you don't even know how to be a dad. Or is the reason you grounded him from destiny because it looked bad on your clan? It's a -blam!-ing game man grow the -blam!- up. The harshest you should have been with him is prevent him from playing with your clan or remove him from it, but no you actually grounded him? Damn I feel sorry for that kid. If the thoughts of the destiny community on you punishing your son and clan reputation are more important then your son's enjoyment with video games then please just stop playing and go spend time with your family. Clearly need to sort out your priorities.

It's cheating...

Tbh u r being a complete asshole. Go ahead and say that ur a father of 2. Ur actions do not prove that. Coming from an 18 year old college student. U r a -blam!-ing retard.
-
Are you Luke Smith, get a life loser
-
Sad that there are other fathers out there immature enough to call someone a "retard" on an internet forum.

word!

Someone must have got slapped a little to hard as a child.
-
You are dunb. See your reply.
-
So you're teaching your 2 kids to use the easy and dangerous way in life, where as op is teaching his to go the honest way...
-
Not exactly cool for kids to think manipulating the system to make things easier is a good thing. When they get jobs and cut corners, that's a great example of how not to live life.
-
Actually it is cheating. He's the parent, not you. If you want to allow your children to be sleezy and use underhanded methods to get anywhere. That's on you. Some his rather make their children deal with disappointment and the fact that they don't always get what they want. Or that there's always someone better. You probably don't keep score when/if they play sports. "Everybody's a winner" my a**.
-
I think you're the retard, since Bungie bans people for backing out on trials matches... It's defined as cheating, maybe you should get a hold on some integrity yourself.
-
Hey bud, I understand you are a parent but would you want some random asshat to tell you how horrible of a dad you are? Maybe you are the retard for trying to tell someone how to raise their children.
-
I am not going to discuss the punishment as the parent it's his call. But this is regarded as cheating and Bungie do dish out account restrictions for this, a simple search would've confirmed this. It's classed as cheating as they are inspecting a team before a match, and leaving if they don't like what they see, yes they hand out a free win, but in effect they are cherry picking their matches to try and avoid a lose.
-
If bungie felt strong enough to restrict this persons account than its probably justified. Cheating is cheating.
-
I feel sorry for your kids. Their father is an internet tough guy. Grow up
-
I've got some super good advice for you, don't procreate.
-
Here is some advice for you get a life
-
You're the one telling someone how to raise their children. I guess that makes you the authority on people who need a life.
-
Not once in my comment did I leave instructions for him on how to raise his children. I just said I feel sorry for them. Learn how to read kid. Better yet don't reply because I probably won't read it

It is cheating.. And bungie bans and takes away your gear for it!

Edited by EskimoRush: 9/1/2015 5:37:16 AMCheating To act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage, especially in a game or examination. How does leaving a game before it starts cheating? You're actually helping the other team by quitting. And I've never seen anyone banned for this.
