Blow up megaton nothing good there

4 RepliesT-45d Winterized Power Armor is the armor you want. No questions. It is in the Operation Anchorage DLC though. Lincoln's Repeater, Callahan's Magnum, Xuanlong Assault Rifle and the Terrible Shotgun are great small guns weapons. Do not put any SPECIAL to 10. Do not pick up any Bobbleheads. Once you hit level 30, take the "Almost Perfect" perk, which raises SPECIAL to 9. Then grab all the Bobbleheads, and your SPECIAL will be all 10. Avoid Ol' Olney. Dogmeat is best companion. Don't blow up Megaton. Mothership Zeta is a waste of time. Finesse, Better Criticals are good perks. Grim Reaper's Sprint is OP as -blam!-

Two words: Lincoln's Repeater.

1 ReplyIf you stumble across a ruined train yard, look for a teddy bear in a shopping cart. Once you pick up the teddy bear, turn around and walk back towards the direction you came from. After walking a short distance, turn back and walk towards the cart again. The Experimental MIRV will spawn where the teddy bear was. Also, there's a place in the northeast corner of the map called Old Olney. If you are below level 10 and go there, you can find the T-51B Winterized Power Armor in the center of town on a dead Brotherhood of Steel Paladin's body.

4 RepliesI've got a choice of buying two DLCs. I'm thinking Broken Steel and Operation Anchorage. Any reason I should change my mind?
-
It's an open world single player game, just play it how you want. Don't have to worry about other players with better builds than you or how you look in front of randoms.

I would go max intelligence for sure (gives you more skill points when you level up) and i usually go for low luck, low strength, low endurance. High everything else. Kind of a sharpshooter build. Use perk to slowly build up other SPECIAL points. Get 'educated' perk. Hunt for skill books to raise skill points. This way, you can max out every skill. I have character right now with max SPECIAL points and max skill points. Hes a beast.

2 RepliesWell, I'm playing new vegas again and I'm doing melee weapons only and I'm not using any stimpaks. It's pretty fun! So I recommend doing that, or limiting yourself in another way.

Shoot everyone, either steal or blow up everything, don't die, don't drink toilet water.
never actually played the game
Collect every teddy bear you find. Don't sell them. Then when you have materials and the schematic, craft a Rock-It-Launcher, then run around shooting teddy bears at Raiders, screaming "I found your teddy, here it is!".

Mister Burke is a nice guy.
