Which Halo game has the best soundtrack?
As you can tell by the image, my favourite is ODST (much soothing, very rain) but I love the others just as much
You're not allowed to answer Halo 5 for obvious reasons.
If you don't like or haven't played halo and you're just here to hate them I suggest you don't comment

1 ReplyWhere is all of the above? I did love Halo Wars soundtrack when everything is just building up and you're preparing for the inevitable fight. The soundtrack is beautiful.

1 ReplyHalo 2. Blow me away. The missions where the elites go full out war on brutes had nice soundtracks. Halo reach. The first mission at the last part. Awesome Halo ODST. The one where you play as romeo had awesome music. It pumped me up as i played through the last part. Also when exploring the city as Rookie had nice soothing, relaxing music.

I'm saying Reach purely because of the fact it was different from the series, and yet perfectly hit the atmosphere of the game. I'm voting CE though.

Looking back at the soundtracks, I wish they divided the tracks up more into their specific songs, instead of multiple songs per track. My vote goes to Halo 2. I can't tell which was more epic, the soundtrack or the story. Too much hand in hand epic.

Halo 3 ODST comes so close to Halo 2. But a Halo 2 is really -blam!-ing good.

Halo 4. 117 is OFF THE HOOK! (Forward unto Dawn is good too) CE. Classic. But the 117 track off of 4 is the best individual Halo song ever recorded.

Halo ODST had the best soundtrack and atmosphere due to Marty! Wtf? Bungievision. I just loved the music score on ODST most of all but tbh I have liked the music scores from all the Halo games from CE up to Halo 4. I include Halo Wars and even Spartan Assault/Strike. What has been leaked already of Halo 5's if true is very promising, but you are right we have to play the game first and hear the full soundtrack.

It's hard to pick 1, but Halo 3 has my favorite soundtrack (it's almost my favorite game soundtrack). ODST is almost my favorite, but nostalgia for 3 makes it better. Reach is my third favorite (second favorite game). While the music is fantastic, 3 and ODDT are more enjoyable to listen to. Halo 2, while good, doesn't feel as expressive as 3 and ODST. CE is the one that started it all, but it's not quite as good as the later games (except 4. I like CE more than 4). 4 doesn't feel like Halo to me personally. It doesn't have the Halo theme in it for one. I haven't really played the others that much, so I can't judge them.
