Why only a few year 1 exotics being upgraded into year 2 standards???
I just don't understand what's going on with year 1 exotic's and how not all of them are being upgraded into year 2 standards. What's the point of nerfing a gally or buffing a hard light if they are gonna end up being hardly useful in the taken king? I believe exotic's should be respected and as guardian's "achievements" not as obsolete objects. I mean take the vex mythoclast as an example. People have grinded so much for that weapon and put so much time and effort into achieving that reward. It felt rewarding to recieve it. Now when the taken king drops it'll be sorta seen as a waste of time or utter trash. I Believe the idea of not upgrading all year one exotic's into year two is gonna really take away some of the beauty from those exotic's and make them a bit forgotten and unwanted.

4 RepliesDeej himself said that they didn't want any exotic to be useless, and although we will still be able to use them in crota, but lets be real here, who will want to do crota and vault after TTK comes out? Bungie better be eventually upgrading those weapons like Gjallarhorn, Vex Mythoclast, Ice Breaker ect, or fans are gonna be really mad and I already know people who won't be playing destiny because of this. Bungie are making a HUGE mistake!
