#Destinyideashop: A place to submit ideas to the devs for improving Destiny

Currently we have the #communitywishlist tag for things we would like to see added to Destiny. I thought it would be cool to also have a place for people to submit ideas on how to make those things happen. To that end, I am creating a new tag #destinyideashop. to have a place to group them together for the devs to see. The community wish list is a great place to list ideas like sparrow races for example. What I envision for #Destinyideashop is a place where someone can take that idea and submit a way to actually implement sparrow races in-game, be it menu set-up, actual course design, race structure (laps, #of participants, rules), etc. Have an idea for a new weapon or armor type? Post your design. Have an idea for a new community space in the Tower or Reef? Post it for us to read or see. Have a suggestion for how LFG could be integrated? Let us know how you'd do it. This should be a sub-forum for Guardians to be able to help build worlds, even if it's just by planting seeds. I am not looking for ideas listed in this thread, though I do appreciate them. I am looking to see your threads tagged #Destinyideashop and look forward to seeing what you all can come up with.

 • Rework infusion process. Infusion shouldn't be tied to weak guns. Infusion should go both ways. Same with armor. Like, sure you can feed a weak gun a beefy gun but it should a bigger boost than what was shown in the stream. You should be able to feed a strong gun a weaker gun and vise versa. The same applies to armor. This way your not trashing a gun or armor piece with good perks if you can't get the exact gun/armor with the same perks all the time by rngesus. This would make me and hopefully everyone else who is very low on weapon parts and armor materials and the like feel more at ease with this new process that is tied to year 2 armor and weapons. This suggestion would not only reduce grind time. It keeps up with people who don't have much time to grind and have irl stuff to do so there not all like "ok, I got a good roll and my armor is super strong, but I can't find anything stronger than it so I can feed it ._. Time for more grinding :D oh wait...I got work tomorrow..."
