Folks, Luke Smith just announced with IGN that King's Fall will not be available when TTK launches and they'll announce when at a later date!
What are your thoughts?
Edit 1: The announcement is made in the last three minutes of the video.
Edit 2: Such great dialogue regarding the announcement as we trend in less than two hours! Thank you Guardians!
Edit 3: Bungie had tweeted the new raid, King's Fall, is completed and will launch on the heels of TTK.
Edit 4: King's Fall, the new raid in TTK, launches 9/18 at 10am PST.

ur funny

Just releasing the week after. It's not a big deal.

It's better to stagger the release of the raid. Gives people time to get leveled and geared up. And I'd like to be able to run through story mode in peace without being spammed invites from people who just want to jump straight into a raid.
-
Honestly, I think this is a good decision on Bungie's part. They have more time to polish up the raid, and the players get to experience the story and new mechanics of TTK without being rushed through just to get to the raid.
-
I'm happy with this decision. It gives us a chance to get our characters up to lvl 40 with the proper gear required for the raid. Imagine jumping into the raid with our outdated gear, we would get slaughtered by whatever is in there!
-
They are trying to figure out if they are charging $20 or $40 for the raid content.
-
They did this with the Vault of Glass It is definitely coming with TTK, just a week or two later We won't be able to play it day one anyway Our levels and gear wouldn't be enough to even start it up. Stop worrying people, they'll put it in just like they did with the Vault, after everyone has had a chance to level up and get gear.
-
Bro... they always wait about 2 weeks or so. Don't sweat
-
I think it's a good idea and here's why: It gives you time to really build your character into the foundation of year 2, weapons armor subclass etc and lets you get the new mechanics in the game down Plus VoG wasn't out for a week or so. And people still couldn't really beat it.
-
Vault of Glass was the same way. Not surprised. I'm glad.
-
Perfectly normal. Games sometimes delay the release of raid content to keep players from feeling obligated to rush to endgame. No shady business tactics here.
-
Why do you feel cheated...Vog didn't came out during launch neither did Crota as far I know
-
Woo, more overreaction and hyperbole!

Edited by powpow24: 8/30/2015 11:45:04 PMVog released after a week. They have to give people a chance to get used to mechanics and new gear and everything. Instead of just beating the end game stuff and being done.
-
You need time to gear
-
If they charge for it I'm -blam!-ing done.
-
It's most likely to let us get to max level and get good gear.
-
VoG wasn't available at launch either.

You was expecting different?
