I have a GameStop Sparrow Code...
Tell me what your favorite moment was during Year One, the most nostalgic moment gets a sparrow code.

Edit: Most of you probably don't know what it is, but it was a exclusive GameStop sparrow that you could only get for pre-ordering.
He gave me 20 codes on my receipt and I decided I wanted to give out some.
Edit 2: I'll be choosing this Friday for who gets the codes.
Edit 3: So many good memories are coming back, I've narrowed it down to 50 people each day I'll shave off ten and come down to it on Friday evening.

Getting smashed by a com sat on patrol....hOLY SHIT BALLS!!! Then the hive and fallen fighting for the first time and me being caught in the middle! Was freaking awesome....still can't believe I didn't die....until Urzok showed up....god I hate that guy...lol

1 ReplyIt was the beta, the first public event I ever did. It was the devil walker one on earth- the divide I believe. It was about a 5-10 minute fight with around eight of us there. After we were victorious, we all run up to the still-smoldering remains and danced in a circle around it for a few minutes. After a while, one person waved and sped off on his sparrow as we waved back. Then, another. And another, and another, and so on until it was just me and one other Guardian. We stopped dancing, walked up to each other, and waved bye to each other. He pulled out his ghost and went to orbit as I turned and marveled at this game that I had so much hope for. I still have hope for it. This game will evolve, and no matter how much I rage, or see others complain about the current op weapon, I will always love this game. Sorry for the long post, but thanks for reading if you did :)

My favorite moment has to be the moment I picked the ghorn from xur on week 2 and I had the best of memories with that one rocket launcher Especially those moments when you shoot it and it blows up in your face because of a dreg hugging your ass Wouldn't have had one until the dark below to be honest

It was my first time play the Vault of Glass, this wast normal, I was a Voidwalker robot who got invited from the Tower. I got skipped straight to Atheon, they said get him to stand here, and then throw your bomb here and grenades here. I did and he fell of. It was awesome but destroyed the experience, but I wouldn't have it any other way…

My most nostalgic moment in Destiny would have to be fighting through Atheon that first month. It was the best feeling to have completed the entire raid and survived. Sadly, I was a Forever 29 (although I mostly just miss those good old Vanilla Days)

Playing for the first time, being so confused and excited and then finally beating the game and getting the stranger's rifle (blue) and thinking it was the best gun. And thinking that thorn was the coolest and rarest exotic

1. when in beta they were not supposed release gold chests so i just farmed them all before they took it out 2. Xur selling nothing but sunbreakers 3. getting the gjallahorn to drop the day before Xur sold it in week 2

When day 1 of the game, when I didn't know what Destiny was and what it was like, and I got into a story mission with a guy who was just doing a patrol and realized that this was an mmo. He invited me to a party and we did some story stuff. I always wondered what happened to him. But it was a great first destiny experience.

I got ghaillhorn two days before Xur sold it. I was like, I finally have this hard to get weapon! That Friday I looked at xurs inventory and almost threw my phone.
