Other than the Sunsinger's ability to self revive, which is overpowered btw and save the raid from failure, there really isn't much the class can do to support it's allies. There are some very minor abilities that the Voidwalker, and from what I've seen of the Stormcaller, that can be situationally helpful but nothing with real oomf for the whole raid party. The Voidwalker can manage some movement denial with it's aoe damage fields that the enemy never stands in. The Stormcaller can manage some party buffs if your allies happen to be really close but how often will we be standing near our team mates in such a large area?
My thoughts are that perhaps the Stormcaller should get some 3 second stun effects with it's chaining abilities and the Voidwalker should get some 6 second slow effects with it's aoe abilities. What do you guys think?

It's almost like the only thing a sunsinger can do is self revive and not provide an ability regen buff to nearby allies
-
Uhhhhh. . . Song of Flame?
-
Warlock: Titans don't need strong offensive power they're a Tank big ole Defense class Warlock: Hey why can't my warlock have the best offensive grenades, supers and best jump and also be a support class? so weird
-
2 RepliesAt least tell us why something is overpowered instead of just throwing that in there.
-
I don't think I got my point by. I'm trying to ask Bungie why the Voidwalker and Stormcaller do NOT have comparable utility. I already know Sunsinger is overpowered...

Sun singer cover a lot of support 1- Tank 2- self Rez 3- creating a lot of orbs 4- Song of Flames to do grenades spam 5- in PvE fusion grenade have good DPS on them combined this with radiance and high des or use HoPF and you'll be a mean killing machine that creat a lot of orbs. I main a warlock and I can honestly say that sunsingers are the best subclass for warlocks in PvE hands down I'll go as far as saying it'll be better then the storm caller in PvE just because of all the roles you can cover.

The support class that warlocks have is sunsinger. Most of The abilities are more or less designed to help your team with their abilities or being able to draw fire. After TTK every class will have two offensive classes and 1 support class.

3 RepliesSunsinger has Song of Flame. Its not much though.

Edited by CrunchyBroth: 8/31/2015 3:07:40 PMWell sir i have something called supportlock. (Supportwarlock) you simply use song of flame, light beyond nemesis, lord of wolves, radiant will and basically any other perks. I suggest anything that keeps you alive longer. When you need dps, simply activate radiance and commence grenade spam.

4 RepliesIt's because that role is better for hunters. Titans and warlocks bring the strength and firepower. Hunters are meh so why not give support status to the weakest class?
-
The warlock is a very offensive class. I like it this way.
-
Sunsinger has the ability to buff all nearby teamates cooldowns.
-
Sunsingers can make a shit ton of orbs if you spec it right. Is that not helpful enough?
-
Song of flame says hi.
-
Wow, the only thing we can do is save raids, nightfall, Trials, and every other darkness zone in the entire game? That's more than every other subclass but because I want to be the best at everything I'll go on the forums and whine for a buff
-
2 RepliesSun singer has abilities to decrease cool downs for allies. We jus don't use them
-
Hell no
-
Ummm there's a hunter that wants to Pee in your cheerios after a statement like that. Revival, grenade cd buff. LoL
