Wouldn't matter. If you've ever jumped from last gen systems to current gen systems with the preorder stuff, it just makes the preorder stuff stop working. I bet you they wouldn't even need to add any code to make it work that way with PS exclusives.

you don't get it. If you could move an account that has Jade rabbit over to xbox which cannot have jade rabbit due to a contract with sony. they would have to disable or delete the weapon upon transfer. otherwise xbox people could use jade rabbit and that goes against contract

I know I am slightly late to the party by a few days, but I have a possible outcome. They (Bungie) already have a system that disables weapons if you have a certain thing preventing them from being used. If you have an exotic (weapon in this case) on, you cannot use other exotic weapons. How come they couldn't use that same metaphorical formula except instead of an exotic already being used, you have the absence of the data for it. And so, if you have Jade Rabbit on PS4, and hop over to Xbox 360/One, it just disables it as you said. I don't see a problem with this plan, but please,if you can point out a flaw in my certainly flawed logic, I'd be happy to talk about it.

Well you must not have experienced the point I made in my first post. When you transfer from the 360 to the one, it already disabled the preorder bonus on its own. It would do the same from the ps to xbone as well. The only real reason for it not happening is because Bungie/activision/Microsoft/Sony don't want it to happen.
