Making this post just to remind idiots that titans are always screwed over by this game. Titan takes by far the most skill of any class in Destiny, it's honestly not even a question. Now I expect a bunch of people who main hunters and warlocks to give dumb accusations for reasons why I'm wrong; such as "Fist of Havoc" or "Shoulder Charge". The people who claim these are advantages as a titan don't actually play on a Titan.
I've mained a Titan since Day One and up until the release of house of wolves never made a second class. After about a week of using a hunter....with only gunslinger I realized how much easier playing hunter is. Once I got to bladedance....forget about it. I'm a sniper so I rarely ever blink shotgun, but when I do you can bet I get 15-20 more kills than deaths easy. I mean blink allows someone who can go from 20 feet with a shotgun to 3 feet away and shoot you mid air for a kill. Let me just explain how a titan can handle this situation. THEY CANT. And I will explain why shoulder charge doesn't work, this happens to me sometimes, I will shoulder charge to close the gap but this animation is long and puts your gun down so by the time the animation is over I'm dead. The only other option I have is to actually be tactical and outsmart the opposition.
Don't even get me started on things like the ram, RANGED MELEE's for the other classes, and supers that you can run around with for even more proof that titans are the hardest pvp class to master. Also if you have noticed all of the top tier pvp players in this game are warlocks and hunters for a reason. Do me a favor warlocks and hunters get off your high horse and admit to your advantages. I admit that titans have an awesome super in first of havoc as it is great to counter other supers....aka self res and bladedance. I will also admit that lightning grenades are extremely powerful but it does take TWO pulses to get a kill you can simply just get out of the way, we have a third of the op things you guys have. I'm sure all my fellow titans will agree, I mean I could go on longer about it but I'll stop now.
Edit: Also name one useful PvP exotic for a titan outside of Armamentarium.
Edit #2: i linked my account for some of you to "judge my stats". Also for those of you saying peregrines are a useful exotic dont play as a titan, YOU HAVE TO BE IN MID AIR, do you know how niche that is. One last thing the defender can be useful but can be supered very easily plus the grenades have some bugs to them which have been made evident by posts on these forums.

Takes most skill ..... I don't think I'm going to EVER stop laughing

Edited by OC Jeffrey: 8/29/2015 9:52:57 PMNo video game where you die as fast as you can in destiny takes "skill" bro, this game is more or less a twitch shooter with slightly more health then you get in CoD, if you wanna see a game that takes skill hop over to halo, at least in 2 and 3, you actually had to have gunfighting skill to beat someone, not just getting the drop and pulling the trigger first

Titan gets up from eating popcorn starts to clap

Warlock>>>>>Titan Sadly

Can't we all just get along!?

Defender Titan
-
I've maimed a Titan since I got the game. Once I made a hunter and warlock, I decided they were too easy to use in pvp so I still main my Titan
-
Saint-14 helm Helm of inmost light Orange and black shoulder thingys
-
This is well thought out.
-
Thank you, somebody knows what there talking about. You on xbox add me KingJerome32
-
I'm a titan main and I second this.
-
Every class is specialized in certain skill sets no class is easier or harder than the other, if you think your titan is hard you would probably do very well with other classes
-
Titan used to be my main. Now im a warlock but i think the gunslinger take the most skill.
-
I agree mostly. BTW my favorite exotic is the helm of inmost light for the Titan.
-
I started as a Titan. When I made a lock and Hunter I was amazed at how much better they are for PvP than Titans. It's a huge difference.
-
I agree that they take the most skill. Any class can be the best if you use it enough. I run defender Titan and i crush with it. Its really preference.
-
Disagree. Titans are stupidly annoying in PvP. Also, ACD/0 Douchebag Fence is able to kill others pretty consistently.
-
Agreed. People don't realize that shoulder charge is a lot harder to use then they think. Also fist of havoc is not over powered whatsoever. Fist of havoc is made to counter other supers. People are just mad that they play stupidly with their supers and charge a Titan and the Titan shuts him down with foh. The funny thing is that most of the people that are mad about being fist of havoced are the ones who get no kills with their super or are on a 5+ kill streak with it and are salty it was ended. Truthfully I don't understand why people get so mad when they get killed with fist of havoc. Most of the time I only use fist of havoc to shut down other supers and only get 1 kill out of it. All the other supers with the exceptions of nova bomb and defender can get 3+ kills easily. Yet people still cry about being killed with fist of havoc. I don't get it?

On a Friday afternoon maybe. On a Wednesday night though it's the hunter for sure. Anyone who disagrees is an absolutel scrubasaurus Rex

People still go on about this?
-
Yea...no

Two things 1, I've played titan and found it super easy in crucible, guess it suited my playstyle but shoulder charge isn't as easy as people think, nor is it as hard as people say. 2, bungie have acknowledged that defender titans bubble getting bitch slapped by arc attacks of blade dancers is unfair and is getting adjusted. They have also admitted that the new subclass is the strongest. Whether that's outta the new 3 or in general I'm not sure. Nonetheless those bits of info are in a 50 min podcast with game informer. You'll find the titan stuff around 20 min in.
