Playing titan takes most skill
Making this post just to remind idiots that titans are always screwed over by this game. Titan takes by far the most skill of any class in Destiny, it's honestly not even a question. Now I expect a bunch of people who main hunters and warlocks to give dumb accusations for reasons why I'm wrong; such as "Fist of Havoc" or "Shoulder Charge". The people who claim these are advantages as a titan don't actually play on a Titan.
I've mained a Titan since Day One and up until the release of house of wolves never made a second class. After about a week of using a hunter....with only gunslinger I realized how much easier playing hunter is. Once I got to bladedance....forget about it. I'm a sniper so I rarely ever blink shotgun, but when I do you can bet I get 15-20 more kills than deaths easy. I mean blink allows someone who can go from 20 feet with a shotgun to 3 feet away and shoot you mid air for a kill. Let me just explain how a titan can handle this situation. THEY CANT. And I will explain why shoulder charge doesn't work, this happens to me sometimes, I will shoulder charge to close the gap but this animation is long and puts your gun down so by the time the animation is over I'm dead. The only other option I have is to actually be tactical and outsmart the opposition.
Don't even get me started on things like the ram, RANGED MELEE's for the other classes, and supers that you can run around with for even more proof that titans are the hardest pvp class to master. Also if you have noticed all of the top tier pvp players in this game are warlocks and hunters for a reason. Do me a favor warlocks and hunters get off your high horse and admit to your advantages. I admit that titans have an awesome super in first of havoc as it is great to counter other supers....aka self res and bladedance. I will also admit that lightning grenades are extremely powerful but it does take TWO pulses to get a kill you can simply just get out of the way, we have a third of the op things you guys have. I'm sure all my fellow titans will agree, I mean I could go on longer about it but I'll stop now.
Edit: Also name one useful PvP exotic for a titan outside of Armamentarium.
Edit #2: i linked my account for some of you to "judge my stats". Also for those of you saying peregrines are a useful exotic dont play as a titan, YOU HAVE TO BE IN MID AIR, do you know how niche that is. One last thing the defender can be useful but can be supered very easily plus the grenades have some bugs to them which have been made evident by posts on these forums.

3 RepliesI play all 3 originally mailing a warlock, but now I play all 3 equally.. and strongly agree, titans are by far the most difficult to play in pvp. I find myself struggling to make good use of their abilities anywhere near as much as hunters and warlocks. Also, their skill tree won't allow you to max agility and battle recovery, only armor/recovery or agil/armor. Armor is the same for everyone across the board in crucible, so buffing it is a waste, where as agility and recovery make you move faster / jump higher and recover health faster obviously. Titan grenades are their best asset, but even those can prove tricky to use at times due to the fact that they have to land on a flat surface which makes a straight line to your opponent. They don't cover a 360 degree range like most other grenades. Before anyone corrects me there, lightning grenades are the best without question for striker. Defender is not ideal for pvp, end of story. They can help cap flags in control, but that does not generally net you kills. Helps your team, but not really your score. We're getting a new subclass w a new Super tho, and I'm excited about that. Can't wait to see how much better it is than hunter arrows lol.

3 RepliesI see were your coming from I main a hunter but I play all 3 titan has the worst melee compared to other classes it's all about timing people that say SHOULDER CHARGE SHOULDER CHARGE a shotty will shut you down easy I know from both point of views all I do is snipe In crucible check hunter stats but on the bright side the taken King will give the titans a walking super but all in all I agree with you

I think everybody finds the classes they don't main to be the easiest to use, I main a hunter, and seem to always get free kills when I use my titan. [spoiler]lightning grenades and shoulder charge[/spoiler]

Well since destiny is focused much more on actual gunplay i would say its the player rather than the class. If you can point a gun well and shoot gud then youre all set

We Titans prefer to sit, eat our Popcorn, and watch the Warlocks & Hunters quarrel for it - because we are above that. Do not stoop so low, brother. 1 ReplyI could not say it better myself. I look at Titans perk tree and don't understand why half of them are not standard as they don't add much benefit to the Titan to be worth a selection. People complain about lightning grenades because they are on par to what he other classes have but remember people we eat all your scatter, axion and fire bolts nades because unlike you we can not simply blink away. I can not wait for the new sun-breaker class and wreck havoc. I hope it's OP to balance what we had to go through.

4 RepliesI have all three characters and my Titan was the first to complete Skolas, hence he is a hard nut. However the hunter IMO is the hardest class to do well with in PvE, I've seen so many struggle with blade dancer, not knowing how to use invisibility correctly. This combined with the fact that they basically have no armour, even when maxed, means that they require a great amount of skill to do well with. I ask all Titans, how many times have you been revived by a hunter in a nightfall when all other classes would have struggled? I think however we are stronger when we fight together; [b]long live all the Guardians![/b]

Watch when the Sunbreaker Titans start doing well in the crucible how many crybabies are gonna run to the forums and beg bungie for a nerf. It's like the noobs all want the titans to be at a disadvantage. And for the record the masses in every MMO/RPG type game flock to the easiest class to play, you'll never see any difficult class as a top choice.
